On January 21, Elephant Robotics introduced the myGripper H100, a three-finger dexterous hand priced in the sub-$1,000 range. On January 22, EHang Intelligent, a global leader in urban air mobility (UAM) technology, announced the official opening of its UAM Exhibition (Experience) Center at Luohu Sports and Leisure Park in Shenzhen.
At the launch ceremony, an EH216-S ascended from the first floor to the second floor via a lift platform, flew a circuit above Luohu Sports and Leisure Park, and landed smoothly.
This is the world's first EH216-S flight takeoff and landing point with an automated vertical-lift platform design. It also represents a new piece of intelligent infrastructure for low-altitude services centered on EH216-S pilotless passenger aircraft in Shenzhen, establishing a new paradigm for electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) operations in urban environments.
