ZhenFund angel project AMIRO becomes first home beauty device brand to obtain Class III medical device registration certificate for RF beauty instrument

On October 12, the National Medical Products Administration released its medical device approval certificate delivery information, approving the Class III medical device registration application for Shenzhen Zongjiang Technology's handheld RF skin therapy device. AMIRO became the first home beauty device brand to "obtain the certificate."

This milestone of home RF beauty devices "going to work with credentials" signals a new phase for the beauty device industry, offering consumers safer and more effective product options. Approved brands like AMIRO will serve as compliance benchmarks, driving the market toward a more regulated and healthy ecosystem.

ZhenFund angel projects Laiye and Cardinal Operations named national-level "Little Giant" enterprises

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently completed the sixth batch of specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative ("Little Giant") enterprise cultivation and the third batch review. Laiye and Cardinal Operations were awarded the sixth batch of national-level "Little Giant" enterprise status. Cardinal Operations also passed the review for "Beijing Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative SME." This marks renewed high-level national recognition of their achievements in specialization, refinement, differentiation, and innovation.

ZhenFund angel project Xiaohongshu co-founder Charlwin Mao named to Fortune China's Most Powerful Women 2024

On October 11, Fortune (Chinese edition) announced its 2024 China's Most Powerful Women list (MPW). Launched in 2010, the list has tracked nearly every significant female leader in Chinese business over the past decade-plus.

Xiaohongshu co-founder Charlwin Mao, a ZhenFund portfolio company, was named to the 2024 Fortune China's Most Powerful Women.

ZhenFund early-stage project Xtools appears at CDIE2024 Automotive & Auto Parts Digital Innovation Summit

On October 10, the CDIE2024 Automotive & Auto Parts Digital Innovation Summit, hosted by Huaang Consulting, was held at the InterContinental Shanghai Jing'an. As a benchmark summit focused on enterprise digital transformation and innovation, it brought together leading companies including Siemens, Osram Automotive Lighting, Bosch Automotive, Dalian Yaming Auto Parts, and Great Wall Motor to explore opportunities and challenges in the digital wave.

Chengdu Jinjiang District leadership visits ZhenFund early-stage project Yunzhou Intelligence for exchange

On October 11, Miao Xiaobo, Deputy Secretary of the Jinjiang District Party Committee and District Mayor, led a delegation to Yunzhou Intelligence for inspection and exchange. Xu Lianyun, Deputy General Manager of Yunzhou Intelligence, warmly received them. On October 12, the "Model Speed Space" anniversary development vision release and Shanghai Generative AI Innovation Ecology Pioneer Zone unveiling ceremony was held at Xuhui West Bund Model Speed Space.

ZhenFund angel project Xishu Technology announces completion of tens of millions of RMB in Series A funding

Recently, Xishu Technology announced the completion of a Series A round of tens of millions of RMB, led by domestic private equity fund Yunbai Capital. The funds will primarily strengthen R&D investment, expand production scale, and deepen market layout.

Xishu Technology is a service provider focused on intelligent IT operations and observability solutions, primarily serving finance, telecom, energy, high-tech manufacturing, and internet industries. Centered on value delivery, the company has accumulated numerous clients, developed extensive software copyrights and patents related to intelligent operations and observability, and effectively ensured its products maintain industry-leading competitiveness.

ZhenFund angel project Heliospace announces completion of sixth round of funding worth hundreds of millions of RMB

Recently, Heliospace, a provider of space laser communication solutions and related products, completed its sixth funding round.

This round was led by Minsheng Securities Investment Co., with joint investment from Changzhou Xiangxing Information Technology, Wuhan Huacang Kexin Venture Investment Partnership, Wuxi Liangxi Kechuang Industrial Investment Fund Partnership, Hangzhou Aohua Venture Investment Partnership, and other notable institutions, totaling hundreds of millions of RMB.

The funds will primarily be used for mass production process investment, R&D investment, and team building.

ZhenFund early-stage project RiVAI again named to "Shenzhen Top 100 Industry Leader Enterprises" list

Recently, the Shenzhen Industry Leader Enterprise Development Promotion Association and Shenzhen Economic Daily · Duchuang client jointly released the "2024 Shenzhen Top 100 Industry Leader Enterprises" list. RiVAI made the list again, receiving the Industry Leader Top 100 honor for two consecutive years.

ZhenFund angel project SpacemiT wins "2024 Hardcore Processor Chip Award"

The 6th Hardcore Chip Ecosystem Conference & Awards Ceremony was successfully held in Shenzhen on October 14, 2024. In the "2024 Hardcore Chip Selection," SpacemiT's 8-core RISC-V terminal AI CPU chip K1 won the "2024 Hardcore Processor Chip Award."

ZhenFund angel project Intellifusion participates in domestically developed E-class high-performance AI computing platform that wins award

On October 17, the Provincial Science and Technology Conference was held in Guangzhou, where the 2023 Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Awards were presented. The "Domestically Developed E-class High-Performance AI Computing Platform" project, led by Peng Cheng Laboratory with participation from Intellifusion, Huawei, Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, Tsinghua University, and Wuhan Optics Valley Aijisuan, among others, received the Special Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress. This was the only special prize among 132 progress awards.

The award-winning platform developed the first E-class intelligent computing system based entirely on domestic software and hardware, filling the gap in domestic AI large model parallel training technology at the hundred-billion level. It previously ranked first on the 2022 international Graph500 SPPP performance list.

The 2024 China (Chongqing) Digital Energy Industry Innovation Development Conference, guided by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology and co-hosted by the China Electricity Council Technology Service Center and Chongqing Energy Conservation Technology Service Center, among others, was recently held in Chongqing. As Deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence Sports AI Professional Committee, Zhao Yong, Founder & Chairman of DeepGlint, co-organized the "Motion Capture and Recognition" sub-forum. On October 18, 2024, the 2024 China Hydrogen Energy Industry Conference was held in Nanhai with the theme "Hydrogen Energy: The Future of Global Green Transition." The conference gathered top domestic and international hydrogen energy experts, scholars, and industry leaders to discuss hydrogen energy's important role in global green transition and future development directions.

ZhenFund angel project Yitu Technology unveils latest Yitu Tianwen Large Model 4.5 at 2024 Beijing Security Expo

From October 22-25, 2024, the world's premier security exhibition, "China International Exhibition on Public Safety and Security," was held at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. With the theme "Digital-Intelligent World · Comprehensive Security," the expo showcased the security industry's latest technological products and their applications across social domains.

Yitu Technology appeared at Hall E1 with the theme "Tianwen Large Model, New Frontiers of Intelligence," unveiling its latest Yitu Tianwen Large Model 4.5.

ZhenFund angel project VisionICs appears at 2024 Industry Investment and Financing Conference, quantum dot spectroscopy technology draws ministerial-level attention

On October 22-23, the 2024 Industry Investment and Financing Conference and National Industry-Finance Cooperation Pilot City "One City, One Policy" Roadshow was held in Qingdao, Shandong. Xin Guobin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Zhao Haozhi, Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Qingdao; and Sha Yan, Party Secretary and Director of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, attended the opening ceremony and delivered speeches.

With the theme "Industry-Finance Collaboration, Innovation-Driven Development," the conference built bridges for better coordination between manufacturing and financial capital, pushing industry-finance cooperation to new heights. Over 120 key industrial chain leading enterprises and "Top Ten" industry leading enterprises, more than 100 renowned domestic and international financial institutions attended the main venue offline, while over 10,000 high-growth enterprises participated via online video streaming.

The Shanghai Science and Technology Conference and Science and Technology Awards Ceremony was held on the morning of October 23, honoring science and technology workers who made outstanding contributions to advancing scientific modernization, and mobilizing for the accelerated construction of Shanghai as an international science and technology innovation center.

Enflame Technology Founder & Chief Operating Officer Arthur Zhang received the "Outstanding Youth Contribution Award in Science and Technology." On October 24, the 2024 China Potential Unicorn Enterprise Development Conference, themed "Gathering Global Talent, Creating a Revitalized Future," was held at the China Industrial Museum in Shenyang, attracting representative enterprises from AI, integrated circuits, robotics, and other frontier technology fields.

At the conference, the "2023 China Potential Unicorn Enterprises" list was announced. SpacemiT was named to the list based on its solid technical strength, advantageous product layout, and outstanding growth potential.

MIT scholars visit ZhenFund early-stage project XtalPi's Shenzhen headquarters

Recently, Professor Troy Van Voorhis, Head of the MIT Chemistry Department, and Corrie Lefebvre, Director of Commercialization Partnerships for the Chemistry Department, visited XtalPi (2228.HK) at its Shenzhen headquarters for in-depth exchange and cooperation discussions with company leadership and research teams. XtalPi Chairman Shuhao Wen and Professor Haitao Zhao of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, among others, attended and discussed XtalPi's latest breakthroughs in AI-automated chemistry laboratories, and explored how AI + robotics platforms can jointly drive AI for Science and build new paradigms for chemical and materials science research.

The 26th International Commission for Optics (ICO) Congress was held in Cape Town, South Africa, from October 21-25, 2024. During the congress, the ICO General Assembly was held. Professor Yidong Huang, Founder & Chief Scientist of Lightelligence, Vice Chairman of the Academic Committee of Tsinghua University, Foreign Member of the US National Academy of Engineering, and Executive Director of the Chinese Optical Society, was elected Vice President of the International Commission for Optics. The Chinese Optical Society won the bid to host the 27th ICO Congress.

On October 25, the Chengyu Intelligent Computing Center lighting ceremony and strategic partner signing ceremony was held in Chengdu. The Chengyu Intelligent Computing Center was invested and built by Sichuan Bingji Technology, with Enflame Technology providing the computing infrastructure, jointly promoting the construction of benchmark scenarios in smart entertainment, smart healthcare, intelligent decision-making, and smart education, and helping Sichuan Province cultivate and incubate local large model enterprises.

From October 22-25, 2024, the Beijing Security Expo was held. Intellifusion showcased its achievements in "Large Model + Policing" innovative applications built with edge AI technology and products. Relevant leaders from the Ministry of Public Security and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology visited the Intellifusion booth and expressed high recognition for its products and solutions.

With leading technical capabilities and innovative solutions, Intellifusion's "Shenmu Intelligent Video Patrol Application" and "Electric Bicycle Traffic Governance Solution" respectively won "Benchmark Case" and "Outstanding Solution" awards.

ZhenFund early-stage project Xbiome debuts new products at National Sugar and Alcohol Fair

Recently, the 111th National Sugar and Alcohol Fair opened at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. The fair invited over 4,200 industry manufacturers from more than 40 countries and regions, and 200,000 domestic and international professional visitors for trading and exchange, building an international exhibition platform integrating display, trading, exchange, and cooperation for the food and alcohol industry.

From October 24-28, the hotel exhibition kicked off first. Xbiome and probiotic partner Health Express jointly exhibited at the Sheraton Shenzhen Futian Hotel. During this period, Health Express launched five new probiotic products co-developed with Xbiome. Dr. Tan Yan, Xbiome's Co-founder & CEO, and Mr. Lin Yuli, CEO of Health Express, personally staffed the booth, explaining Health Express's new products and Xbiome's partnership model for empowering food and wellness enterprises in probiotic R&D.
