ZhenFund angel project ChromX selected as a case study in China's first exhaled breath testing industry blue paper
On July 29, Frost & Sullivan successfully held the online launch event for the China Exhaled Breath Testing Industry Blue Paper. Dr. Junqi Wang, founder and CEO of ChromX, was invited to participate in this virtual event, sharing cutting-edge exhaled breath testing technologies and applications. ChromX won Frost & Sullivan's "2023 Global Exhaled Breath Testing Leadership Award" last year, and was selected as a case study in this year's blue paper — a strong testament to the industry's high regard for the company.
ZhenFund angel project DataGrand named a 2024 China AI Large Model Pioneer Enterprise in Data Intelligence
On July 24, DataYuan held the "2024 Enterprise Digital Intelligence Transformation and Upgrade Development Forum — AI Large Model Trends Forum" in Beijing. At the forum, the 2024 China Data Intelligence Industry AI Large Model Pioneer Enterprises list was announced. DataGrand received this honor for its outstanding capabilities in the large model field, earning a spot on the list.
ZhenFund angel project Artilux raises tens of millions of yuan in Series C2 funding
Recently, Artilux announced the completion of a tens-of-millions-of-yuan Series C2 round led by Jintou Dingxin. ZhenFund had previously participated in Artilux's angel round and subsequent funding rounds. Proceeds from this round will continue to support rapid R&D iteration and mass production of high-end 3D camera chips, accelerating the technological momentum of high-end 3D camera chips for intelligent driving, robotics, and high-end cameras.
Professor Zheng Yongnian visits ZhenFund angel project Intellifusion for discussion and exchange
Recently, the sixth edition of "Industry-City Leaders · Bay Area Dialogue," co-hosted by the Shenzhen Industry-City Integration Promotion Association and the Nanshan Charity Federation, with support from Shenzhen Intellifusion Technologies Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. Professor Zheng Yongnian, Presidential Chair Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Dean of the School of Public Policy, and Director of the Qianhai Institute for International Affairs, visited Intellifusion to attend the event.
ZhenFund angel project DataGrand achieves dual algorithm filing for vertical large model services and generative AI
On August 5, the Cyberspace Administration of China released the "Announcement on the Seventh Batch of Deep Synthesis Service Algorithm Filing Information." DataGrand's "Cao Zhi Large Model Text Generation Algorithm" was listed, passing the filing as a service technology supporter. This follows the Cao Zhi Large Model's earlier filing for generative artificial intelligence services at the end of 2023, marking another national regulatory certification for the company.

On August 8, 2024, IDC released its annual China fintech rankings. CreditX was named to the "IDC China FinTech 50" list for the fourth consecutive year, recognized for its outstanding AI product capabilities and impressive performance in model-powered financial services.

Recently, Fortune (Chinese edition) released its "China's 40 Under 40 Business Elites" and "China's 40 Under 40 Most Promising Business Elites" lists. Multiple founders from ZhenFund's portfolio were honored.

ZhenFund angel project Intellifusion's SPACE inference acceleration engine paper accepted at top-tier conference
From August 11–16, the 62nd Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL) was held in Bangkok, Thailand. The paper Generation Meets Verification: Accelerating Large Language Model Inference with Smart Parallel Auto-Correct Decoding from Intellifusion's large model team was accepted as an ACL24 Findings long paper. The paper proposes the SPACE engine — an innovative solution for lossless acceleration of large model inference.
ZhenFund angel project Cardinal Operations customer case selected for Digital Rural Development Research Report (2024)
Recently, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology Policy and Economics Research Institute, in collaboration with Renmin University of China's School of Agricultural Economics and Rural Development, released the Digital Rural Development Research Report — Logical Framework, Key Breakthroughs, and Sustainable Models (2024). Among the selections, the digital agricultural supply chain collaboration platform jointly built by Liuguo Chemical and Cardinal Operations was included in the report's "Digital Rural Construction Innovative Models and Typical Cases" as an application case of artificial intelligence in the agricultural supply chain sector.
ZhenFund angel project Laiye named to Gartner® RPA Magic Quadrant for fourth consecutive year as China's sole representative
Recently, international authoritative research firm Gartner® released its annual Magic Quadrant™ for Robotic Process Automation. Laiye was named to the report for the fourth consecutive year, and this year was the only Chinese company to make the list. Laiye surpassed IBM on both the horizontal "Completeness of Vision" and vertical "Ability to Execute" axes, putting it on par with internationally renowned intelligent automation vendors.
ZhenFund angel project Cyber Kunlun tops two major international cybersecurity annual lists
Recently, the Pwnie Awards — known as the "Oscars of Hacking" — announced its final winners at the DEFCON cybersecurity conference, while Microsoft also unveiled its 2024 Most Valuable Researchers (MVR) list of the top 100 security researchers globally at the Black Hat conference. Cyber Kunlun had as many as six security researchers ranked in the top 50 of the MVR list, and also won the "Best RCE of the Year" award at the Pwnie Awards.

Recently, the General Office of China's National Energy Administration released its 2024 energy sector industry standard development and revision plan. Two standards led by WeView Energy Storage — General Technical Specifications for Zinc-Iron Flow Batteries and Zinc-Iron Flow Batteries Part 1: Technical Requirements and Test Methods for Stacks — have been officially approved for development.
ZhenFund angel project Cyber Kunlun first to provide remediation solution, assists Microsoft in patching Windows TCP/IP zero-click vulnerability
On August 14, 2024 Beijing time, Microsoft patched a critical remote zero-click vulnerability (CVE-2024-38063) in the TCP/IP protocol of its Windows operating system during its monthly Patch Tuesday. The vulnerability was independently discovered and reported by a researcher at Kunlun Lab, who assisted the vendor with remediation efforts to protect billions of Windows endpoints and servers worldwide.

On August 14, the Huawei Asia Pacific ICT Summit 2024 · Thailand officially opened. As a Huawei AI partner and a leader in industry-specific large model applications, Recurrent AI was invited to participate. Co-founder and COO Jie Fa attended the summit and delivered a keynote speech titled "Leading Industry Transformation: Innovative Applications and Practical Implementation of Large Models," sharing successful large model deployments across various industries.
ZhenFund angel project Lésign officially releases new AI model Pallatom on its Lésign® platform
Lésign continues to advance generative protein design. Its self-developed Lésign® platform leverages AI algorithms to deliver fast, stable, and accurate design solutions. Recently, Lésign® officially launched its new AI model — Pallatom. Unlike backbone-generation models, Pallatom samples from full-atom structures to produce more chemically reasonable protein sequences and structures. Its innovative architecture and atomic representations will eventually support ligand small molecules, DNA, RNA, and non-standard amino acids, unlocking a new paradigm for full-atom protein design.

The 2024 RISC-V China Summit — one of China's highest-caliber, largest-scale, and most influential professional conferences — will hold its main conference in Hangzhou from August 21–23. On August 21, the 37th Taipei International Robot and Automation Show opened at the Nangang Exhibition Center. Flexiv, together with ecosystem partner Odi (Booth M136), presented automotive parts deburring demonstrations based on its Moonlight adaptive robot, FPC flexible insertion applications, a robotic massage workstation, and a ball-balancing demo — showcasing the company's most advanced adaptive robot technology and products to attendees.

Recently, Datagrand's Caozhu Large Model V7.4 completed and passed Huawei's Ascend Native Technology Certification, based on the Huawei Ascend AI foundational software and hardware platform.
