ZhenFund angel project "Guibu Microelectronics" closes strategic funding round exceeding RMB 100 million, doubling down on 4D imaging millimeter-wave radar chips
Deepening its focus on the mmWave sensing track.
On July 24, Guibu Microelectronics officially completed a strategic funding round exceeding 100 million yuan. The round was jointly led by OmniVision, Bosch Ventures, Jiangbei Science Investment Group, Lanpu Capital, and Jingxiang Capital, among others. As Guibu Microelectronics' first investor, ZhenFund has supported the team since 2021, witnessing the productization of its technology.
Since its founding, the company has cumulatively raised over 100 million yuan from a roster of strategic investors and top-tier VC firms including Great Wall Motor, Bosch Ventures, Yuanhe Puhua, Inno-chip, China ICV, ZhenFund, Shunwei Capital, and Amlogic. This investor lineup fully demonstrates the capital markets' and industry's strong recognition of the company's technical approach, as well as their firm confidence in its commercialization prospects and long-term strategic value.
Guibu Microelectronics focuses on the R&D and industrialization of 4D imaging millimeter-wave radar chips. Its core product portfolio covers: a 77G 8T8R automotive imaging single chip, a 92G traffic radar chip, a 60G drone obstacle-avoidance chip, and a cost-effective corner radar SoC — all of which have already achieved mature mass production and delivery. This funding round will be directed primarily toward continuous core technology iteration, scaling up mass production, and scenario-based market expansion.
As the company's business grows rapidly and its product line continues to expand, teams in Nanjing, Shanghai, Singapore, and Beijing are actively hiring.
