ZhenFund early-stage project Flexiv completes new funding round, continues building general-purpose intelligent robotics platform
The funding will be primarily used for the continued development of the general-purpose intelligent foundation platform and core technology R&D, further strengthening the company's technological and commercial footing in the general-purpose intelligent robotics space.
On March 9, Flexiv announced the completion of a new funding round. The round was led by Invus, a top-tier global long-term capital firm, with participation from Atma Capital, Alpha Group, and other institutional and strategic investors, while existing shareholders continued to invest.
The proceeds will primarily fund the ongoing development of its general-purpose intelligence platform and core technology R&D, scaling production of its general-purpose robot products, building out its global sales and service network, and expanding deployment in key industry verticals — further strengthening the company's technological and commercial foundation in general-purpose intelligent robotics. In 2017, ZhenFund participated in Flexiv's Series A financing and has been a partner ever since.

Today, "AI + manufacturing" is driving industrial upgrading. As manufacturing systems grow increasingly complex and demand greater flexibility, traditional rigid programming models have hit their efficiency ceiling. Intelligent systems with perception, decision-making, and adaptive execution capabilities have become the key to breaking through.
Flexiv is redefining the paradigm of intelligent automation, building adaptive robot products centered on its "general-purpose intelligence platform." By deeply integrating advanced force control technology with hierarchical AI, the company has created a hardware-software integrated architecture that gives robots human-like dexterity in unstructured environments. Built on this transferable, reusable platform, Flexiv has achieved high product standardization and rapid deployment, successfully breaking down industry barriers and laying the structural groundwork for scalable replication across scenarios.
Currently, Flexiv's products are widely deployed across mobility, electronics and appliances, general industry, food and consumer goods, commercial services, and biopharmaceuticals. The company is also becoming the robot platform of choice for an growing number of large enterprises and unicorns in the embodied intelligence space, both domestically and internationally.
"We remain committed to long-termism, continuously focusing on breakthroughs in the underlying capabilities of general-purpose robotics," said Shi Quan Wang, Flexiv's founder and CEO. "General-purpose intelligent robots will be the core engine driving the leap in future societal productivity. After a decade of deep cultivation, Flexiv's adaptive robot product lines are entering an accelerated penetration phase across industries, empowering sustainable development across thousands of sectors through our general-purpose intelligence platform."
