Selection Criteria
· 2025 Forbes China Midas List
This is a highly data-driven ranking, combining public data sources with thousands of investment transactions submitted annually by hundreds of investors. To qualify, companies in an investor's portfolio must have gone public or been acquired for at least 1 billion RMB within the past five years, or alternatively, achieved a valuation of at least 6 billion RMB that has at least doubled during the same period. Forbes China places greater weight on realized exits. In terms of evaluation, early-stage investors who achieve high return multiples on projects, or growth-stage investors who return substantial cash, are both considered valid cases.
