Qiming Venture Partners Portfolio Company WeRide Launches "WeRide Mobility" App
In addition to its self-operated mobility service platform, WeRide also partners with local operators in multiple locations worldwide to provide Robotaxi and Robobus services.
To better serve users across China, WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD) — a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company and a global leader in autonomous driving technology — has officially rebranded its mobility app from "WeRide Go" to "文远出行" (WeRide Mobility). The new name makes the app easier to find and download, and the company has simultaneously launched a "scheduled private car service" feature.
Users can search for and download the "文远出行" app in major app stores to hail WeRide's Robotaxi autonomous ride-hailing service with one tap, and to check real-time operations of WeRide's autonomous minibuses (Robobus).
Currently, WeRide's Robotaxi service covers Beijing Yizhuang and Guangzhou Huangpu. WeRide Robobus operates routes in Beijing between the P12 parking lot at City Green Heart Forest Park and Beijing City Library, and between Haojiafu subway station and Beijing City Library; in Guangzhou, it runs the Bio Island South Line and the Autonomous Mobility Convenience Line No. 1; and in Nanjing, it offers a holiday sightseeing tour line and an eco-tech island shuttle service, among others.

Open the "文远出行" app and find the "Scheduled Private Car Service" feature at the bottom of the interface.

Select your trip type:
Choose "Station Pickup/Drop-off" or "Airport Pickup/Drop-off" based on your needs, and select your desired station.

Select a nearby pickup point and departure time, and the system will automatically generate a route plan and booking fare.

Start your trip:
When the vehicle arrives, unlock the door via the "文远出行" app and tap "Start Trip" on the touchscreen.
