In 2021, Qiming Venture Partners led Yunji Technology's Series C round and continued to back the company through subsequent financing rounds.

Founded in 2014, Yunji Technology primarily provides customers with adaptive and scalable robots and functional kits, complemented by AI-powered digital systems. The company's core focus — hospitality robotic-based AI agents — refers to intelligent automation systems deployed on robots that integrate AI technology to deliver human-centric, end-to-end services through direct user interaction. Through continuous learning and adaptive optimization, these systems comprehensively elevate service quality and operational efficiency.
With leading products and technology, plus a streamlined and flexible integrated product-service offering, Yunji Technology's robotic AI agents have found wide application across diverse scenarios including hotels, factories, hospitals, and commercial buildings. To date, Yunji Technology has cumulatively deployed in 34,000 hotels worldwide. In 2024, the company's robots hit a peak of 36,000 units operating online in a single day, completing approximately 500 million service interactions over the full year. Most major hotel chains have selected Yunji Technology's robotic products as their first choice for intelligent upgrades, giving the company the top market share in China's hotel customer market — exceeding the combined total of the second- through fifth-ranked competitors.

"This IPO represents strong market validation of the commercial value of service robots, marking a critical step toward scaled deployment of robotic AI agents," said Tao Zhi, Founder, Chairwoman, and President of Yunji Technology. "Going forward, Yunji Technology will continue strengthening our full-stack R&D capabilities across both 'brain and limbs,' deepening our hotel-scene advantages while expanding into diverse commercial scenarios, attracting top global talent, and driving deeper integration between robotics technology and vertical industries — bringing intelligent services into every household."
Alex Zhou, Managing Partner of Qiming Venture Partners, said: "In 2021, Qiming recognized the maturation of indoor autonomous technology and made a decisive bet on high-demand scenarios like hotels. Since our investment, we've watched Yunji Technology deeply fuse technology with real-world applications, redefining the consumer experience through industry-leading robotic products.
