At the recently held 2025 (25th) China Venture Capital Forum, the Tech T50 — China's Top 50 Pioneer Tech Investment Institutions list was officially released. The list aims to strengthen industry consensus around early-stage tech commercialization, guide investment institutions to more precisely align with the strategy of "investing early and small," cultivate full sci-tech innovation cycles, and direct resources toward strategic emerging industries.

The list was jointly released by Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Finance Research Institute, Shanghai Angel Club, and Pujiang Science and Technology Review, with data support from Most Innovation Community and Ruisi Analysis. Focusing on major annual topics in the sci-tech innovation field, and guided by the principle of "empowering sci-tech innovation at the source and promoting technology transfer," the organizers conducted a comprehensive evaluation of candidate institutions based on core dimensions including contribution to technology commercialization and investment performance. Through data analysis, questionnaire surveys, and expert review, the list ultimately selected 50 institutions as the "pioneer forces" with outstanding comprehensive performance in China's tech investment sector.
In its selection report, the Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Finance Research Institute stated that China's tech investment sector is undergoing systemic and structural transformation. Investment direction is accelerating toward deeper penetration of strategic emerging industries, investment entities are becoming increasingly diversified, and investor patience has notably strengthened. This series of shifts is injecting more sustainable and resilient momentum into technological innovation.
