Qiming Venture Partners Donates to Support Rescue and Reconstruction Efforts After Tibet Gyirong Mudslide Disaster
Supporting the Tibet Autonomous Region Charity Federation in disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction efforts, providing emergency rescue and long-term assistance to affected populations.

On August 26, triggered by landslide disasters in Nepal, the Gyirong "8·26" landslide disaster struck Gyirong Port in Gyirong County, Shigatse City, Tibet, causing significant casualties, missing persons, and infrastructure damage. Following the disaster, the National Disaster Prevention, Mitigation, and Relief Committee and the Ministry of Emergency Management urgently activated a Level II national disaster relief emergency response. At present, personnel search and rescue, resettlement of affected residents, material supply, emergency relief, and post-disaster reconstruction efforts are all daunting tasks, and the disaster has drawn concern from all sectors of society.

In response, Qiming Venture Partners donated RMB 1 million to the Tibet Autonomous Region Charity Federation to support disaster relief and post-disaster reconstruction efforts, providing emergency assistance and long-term aid to affected residents.
Qiming Venture Partners will continue to monitor relief progress and follow up on the recovery situation in the disaster area, working with the Tibet Autonomous Region Charity Federation to support local livelihood restoration and home rebuilding efforts.
