36Kr noted that this year's evaluation combined online surveys with offline interviews, using fundraising, investment, portfolio management, and exit data as its foundation while also weighing industrial落地, technology enablement, and exit performance to assess investment practices across different sectors. Scale and deal count form part of the record, but an institution's ability to grasp the specific challenges of an industry also determines the quality of its investments. The AI and embodied AI TOP30 lists share 19 overlapping institutions — an intersection of over 60% that points to an emerging technical convergence. As large models extend into the physical world, robots are needed to carry perception and action, while chips, materials, and precision manufacturing provide underlying support. A seemingly independent new track often connects to accumulated capabilities across multiple industries, and investors' research horizons are expanding beyond their original sector boundaries in response. Technology is reconnecting industries, and these rankings document the venture capital forces participating in this shift, the investors behind them, and the depth each has reached.
