Qiming Venture Partners co-leads Zenitar's nearly 600 million yuan Series C round
late-stage clinical biotech company

Recently, Zenitar (成都赜灵生物医药科技股份有限公司) announced the completion of a nearly RMB 600 million Series C financing round, co-led by Qiming Venture Partners.**

The proceeds from this round will primarily support global clinical R&D, pipeline expansion, and technology platform upgrades. Specifically, this includes: First, global clinical development. Accelerating the advancement of two globally competitive hematology/oncology drug candidates currently in Phase III registrational trials, expanding clinical development into additional indications, and simultaneously launching overseas clinical trials for multiple immunology and inflammation as well as central nervous system candidates to build out international market presence; Second, pipeline expansion. Advancing in parallel through indication expansion of existing assets and differentiated molecular design against novel targets to continuously enrich and upgrade the innovative drug pipeline; Third, technology platform upgrades. Continuing to strengthen the synergistic capabilities of its three core technology platforms — ZeniFold, which leverages deep structural biology expertise; ZeniMind, an AI-driven drug discovery and design engine; and ZeniScreen, featuring clinically relevant disease screening models — to systematically enhance end-to-end drug development capabilities.

Founded in 2019, Zenitar is a late clinical-stage biotechnology company. Integrating structural biology, artificial intelligence, and clinical-grade disease models, the company has built an integrated core technology platform for novel drug R&D, efficiently constructing a diversified pipeline with global competitiveness and significant differentiation advantages, dedicated to developing highly differentiated small-molecule therapies with "first-in-class" or "best-in-class" potential. The company focuses on hematologic diseases, oncology, central nervous system (CNS), and inflammation and immunology (I&I), aiming to develop innovative treatment standards or therapeutics that substantially improve upon existing efficacy for diseases with major unmet clinical needs.
Zenitar integrates ZeniFold (structural biology platform), ZeniMind (AI drug discovery and design platform), and ZeniScreen (clinically relevant disease model screening platform) to build a "three-in-one" synergistic R&D engine, forming a closed-loop iterative system spanning from target identification to molecular design to pharmacological validation. ZeniFold relies on high-precision protein structure resolution to accurately locate drug binding sites and guide molecular scaffold design; ZeniMind leverages self-developed AI algorithms to enable intelligent molecular generation and multi-objective parameter optimization; ZeniScreen utilizes clinically relevant disease models to systematically complete pharmacological validation and assessment of clinical translation potential.
Through this closed-loop workflow of "structural resolution — AI design — disease model validation — structural back-validation," Zenitar achieves continuous mutual verification and iterative optimization of computational and experimental data, significantly improving lead compound discovery efficiency and candidate drug quality, and successfully supporting the formation and advancement of multiple small-molecule programs in the company's pipeline.

This investment, with participation from multiple world-class institutional investors, fully demonstrates capital markets' strong recognition of Zenitar's R&D capabilities and growth prospects. Committed to an innovation-driven development strategy, Zenitar will continue to deepen its global footprint, accelerate the unleashing of its core platforms' technological potential in structural biology and AI drug design, systematically enhance the competitiveness and clinical value of its innovative drugs in international markets, drive more globally first-in-class drug candidates into clinical stages, and provide innovative solutions for unmet clinical needs.
This financing round was co-led by True Light Capital, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek, and Qiming Venture Partners, with follow-on investment from Tencent, BlueRun Ventures, C&D Emerging Investment, and Shanghai Science and Technology Innovation Fund; existing shareholders 5Y Capital, Huajin Capital, Guosheng Capital, and Sichuan Science and Technology Innovation Investment Group continued to increase their stakes.
