Qiming Venture Partners Leads Nearly 100 Million Yuan Series B Round in Ronghe Medical, Ushering in New Era for Respiratory Interventional Therapy
Going forward, Ronghe Medical will continue to focus on the frontier of life sciences, deepening the expansion and integration of its core technology matrix, and dedicating itself to developing original medical device solutions with significant clinical value.

Recently, Ronghe Medical Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. ("Ronghe Medical") announced the completion of its Series B financing round. Led by Qiming Venture Partners, the proceeds will accelerate the clinical commercialization, regulatory approvals, and market expansion of its world-first "real-time electromagnetic navigation-guided bronchial rheoplasty" technology, further advancing innovation in interventional therapies for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and cracking open the "black box" of COPD treatment.

According to World Health Organization data, COPD ranks as the third leading cause of death globally, and in 2024 China incorporated it into its public health program management. Yet existing pharmacological treatments offer limited efficacy, leaving substantial unmet clinical demand. Ronghe Medical's self-developed Yakexia® (Breeze One®) "real-time electromagnetic navigation pulsed field ablation system" received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation in April 2025 — a significant milestone marking China's advance onto the global stage in respiratory interventional therapeutics.
The system delivers three core innovative advantages:
First, real-time electromagnetic navigation plus targeted ablation in one integrated platform
The system incorporates 3D visualized electromagnetic navigation technology, effectively equipping physicians with a "bronchial GPS" that overcomes the visual blind spots of conventional bronchoscopy, substantially shortening the clinical learning curve while improving surgical precision and operational efficiency. Meanwhile, real-time ablation point recording effectively prevents missed or duplicate ablations, significantly enhancing procedural safety and consistency.
Second, root-cause treatment pushing COPD toward "clinical cure"
Through pulsed field technology that directly ablates abnormally mucus-secreting goblet cells, the system reduces sputum production at its source, alleviating symptoms including cough, sputum production, and dyspnea — shifting treatment from "symptom management" to "root-cause intervention." The technology's highly efficient precision and strong tissue preservation characteristics enable a "skin-renewal" effect on bronchial epithelium, clearing diseased tissue while preserving healthy tissue and self-repair functions.
Third, non-thermal mechanism for safe, gentle treatment
Employing a non-thermal physical mechanism of action, the system avoids thermal and mechanical damage to surrounding blood vessels, nerves, cartilage, and other normal tissues, significantly improving procedural safety.
Ye Ping, founder of Ronghe Medical, stated: " Qiming Venture Partners and HETANG Venture Capital, widely recognized as highly respected top-tier investment institutions, their recognition and support for Ronghe Medical fully reflects the strength of our original innovative technology and the significant clinical value it delivers. Ronghe Medical will remain committed to exploring the mysteries of life, extending and deepening core original innovations, translating these advantages into corporate brand influence and momentum for a health ecosystem, democratizing advanced science and technology, and creating valuable outcomes for clinicians and patients alike."
Ao Zhang, Partner at Qiming Venture Partners, commented: "Ronghe Medical has achieved genuine original innovation in the COPD interventional treatment space. Its technology not only possesses clear clinical mechanisms and marked efficacy advantages, but also demonstrates 'China-created' technological competitiveness on the global stage. We are optimistic about the company's platform value and global market potential in respiratory disease interventional therapeutics, and believe Ronghe Medical will generate outstanding value for industry development and social welfare."
Going forward, Ronghe Medical will continue focusing on the frontier of life sciences, deepening the expansion and integration of its core technology matrix, and dedicating itself to developing original medical device solutions with major clinical value. With a steadfast commitment to safeguarding human health and well-being, Ronghe Medical strives to improve the accessibility and inclusivity of respiratory disease diagnosis and treatment, contributing to a more efficient and equitable public health system. By driving the penetration of medical technologies and coverage of quality resources, Ronghe Medical aims to enable more patients to access high-quality, humanized respiratory health services, practicing its social responsibility of "technology for the people, shared health" through concrete action, and contributing Chinese wisdom and Chinese strength to building a global community of health for all.
This financing round was led by Qiming Venture Partners, with HETANG Venture Capital participating.
