BrightOcular Medical Completes Nearly RMB 100 Million Series A Round

Recently, BrightOcular Medical, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company and innovative medical device enterprise focused on minimally invasive precision treatments for ophthalmology, officially announced the completion of a nearly RMB 100 million Series A financing round. The proceeds will be primarily used for clinical follow-up and registration filings for core products, building an industrial production base, establishing a marketing team, and R&D expansion for subsequent product pipelines.

Founded in 2020 by Peking University PhD Kan Min together with leading ophthalmology experts, BrightOcular Medical is a national high-tech enterprise dedicated to building a world-leading platform for original innovative minimally invasive ophthalmic treatments. With "medical-engineering integration, clinically driven" as its core philosophy, the company focuses on the minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) field and has built comprehensive solution capabilities covering consumables, instruments, and surgical equipment, aiming to drive China's high-end ophthalmic devices from "following" to "keeping pace" and even "leading."

01/ Insilico Medicine Announces USD 888 Million Anti-Tumor Drug R&D Collaboration with Servier

Recently, Insilico Medicine (03696.HK), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company and global leading AI-driven drug discovery company, announced a multi-year R&D collaboration with Servier, a globally independent pharmaceutical company managed by a foundation. The partnership will leverage Insilico Medicine's self-developed AI platform Pharma.AI to identify and develop novel therapeutics targeting challenging targets in the oncology field.

Under the agreement, Insilico Medicine will be eligible to receive up to USD 32 million in upfront and near-term R&D milestone payments, and will lead the discovery and development of potential candidate drugs meeting established criteria using its AI technology platform; Servier will co-fund R&D costs and lead subsequent clinical validation and commercialization.

Recently, Roborock (688169.SH), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company and global leader in home robotics, officially announced a global strategic partnership with the men's and women's first teams of world-class football club Real Madrid C.F. Roborock becomes Real Madrid's global official partner in the cleaning robot and handheld vacuum cleaner categories, launching a long-term strategic collaboration under the theme "Ultimate Experience, Within Reach."

From January 6-9, 2026, both parties jointly appeared at CES in Las Vegas, launching their first co-branded experience event. Consumers and business partners could experience the innovative showcase area co-created by both brands, feeling the new experience brought by the fusion of technology and top-tier sports spirit.

03/ Zhipu AI and DiDi Reach Strategic Partnership

Recently, Zhipu AI (02513.HK), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, and DiDi announced a strategic partnership. Both parties will conduct forward-looking collaborative exploration around key AGI technologies and their intelligent agent applications in the mobility sector.

In recent years, DiDi has continued to increase technical investment in large models and intelligent agents, gradually advancing innovative applications such as AI travel assistants and business travel assistants based on real-world complex mobility scenarios. Zhipu AI has deep accumulation in large model architecture, training paradigms, and intelligent agent technology. Based on this strategic partnership, both parties will jointly promote intelligent agent scenario deployment and large model talent cultivation, deepen intent alignment and reasoning capability building for mobility scenarios, and drive validation and deployment of agents in more complex business scenarios. A DiDi representative stated that both parties look forward to fully leveraging their respective advantages to jointly promote the application and development of AGI in broader real-world scenarios.

04/ Hesai Technology's Full Product Line Global Expansion and Major Partnerships

Recently, Hesai Technology (NASDAQ: HSAI, 02525.HK), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, officially debuted at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. This year, Hesai not only showcased its latest LiDAR technology achievements covering ADAS and robotics, but also announced major partnerships including with NVIDIA, doubling annual production capacity to 4 million units, and steady progress on its Bangkok, Thailand factory — core breakthroughs in global production capacity layout, leading industry development through the synergistic advantages of technology, capacity, and ecosystem.

As highlights of this year's booth, Hesai Technology brought multiple core product upgrades and innovative solutions: including the recently majorly updated ATX refreshed LiDAR equipped with Fermi C500 chip and photon isolation technology; a full series of solutions for next-generation L3-grade automotive applications, covering long-range LiDAR ETX and short-range blind-spot LiDAR FTX; and the mini high-performance 3D LiDAR JT series specially designed for the robotics field, among other star products, comprehensively demonstrating Hesai Technology's technical accumulation and innovative strength in LiDAR.

Among these, the Hesai Technology ATX refreshed version is the most market-anticipated LiDAR, with orders exceeding 4 million units from multiple global top-tier OEMs, with mass production delivery starting in April 2026. The robotics LiDAR Hesai Technology JT series, launched only one year ago, has already surpassed 200,000 units in deliveries. In response to surging global market demand, Hesai Technology announced major capacity plans at CES 2026: annual production capacity will increase from 2 million units in 2025 to 4 million units in 2026, achieving a doubling. Behind this target is Hesai Technology's validated "million-unit annual" mass production delivery capability — as the world's first company to exceed 1 million units in annual production and surpass 2 million units in cumulative deliveries, Hesai Technology completed its 1 millionth unit production milestone in September 2025, and cumulative deliveries exceeded 2 million units in November 2025. Hesai Technology has doubled annual deliveries for five consecutive years, with over 1.6 million units delivered in 2025, and total cumulative deliveries across all LiDAR product lines exceeding 2.4 million units.

05/ MediLink Therapeutics and Roche Sign Another Exclusive License Agreement

Recently, MediLink Therapeutics, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, announced that it has reached a new exclusive license agreement with Roche for the YL201 project, to jointly advance the development and commercialization of this B7H3-targeting innovative antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) candidate in multiple solid tumor indications.

Under the agreement terms, MediLink Therapeutics will grant Roche exclusive rights to develop, manufacture, and commercialize the YL201 project globally (excluding Mainland China, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and Macau Special Administrative Region). MediLink Therapeutics will receive USD 570 million in upfront and near-term milestone payments, and is eligible for additional development, registration, and commercialization milestone payments, as well as tiered royalties based on net sales after YL201's overseas approval.

This exclusive license agreement for the YL201 project builds upon the successful collaboration initiated between both parties in January 2024 for the YL211 (c-Met ADC) project. MediLink Therapeutics and Roche will further deepen cooperation to jointly advance the YL201 project. Through this collaboration, both parties will fully leverage their respective advantages to accelerate the global registration filing process for YL201. Based on their shared commitment to scientific innovation and patient welfare, MediLink Therapeutics and Roche are dedicated to bringing this potentially innovative therapy to patients as early as possible.

GenEditBio's GEB-101 Receives FDA Clinical Trial Approval

*Recently, GenEditBio, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company and clinical-stage biotechnology innovator, announced that its self-developed in vivo genome editing investigational drug **GEB-101 has received Investigational New Drug (IND) approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company will officially launch in the United States the Phase I/II clinical trial abbreviated as "CLARITY," aiming to bring "one-time cure" *hope to patients with TGFBI-related corneal dystrophy.

The CLARITY clinical trial is an adaptive, seamlessly designed Phase I/II multicenter study using sequential enrollment, aiming to collect preliminary data to evaluate the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of GEB-101 in patients with TGFBI-related corneal dystrophy. Subjects will receive a single intrastromal corneal injection, with enrollment expected to begin progressively at U.S. research centers starting in the second quarter of this year.

ArkBio Announces Compound Dexmethylphenidate Hydrochloride and Serdexmethylphenidate Capsules (Aizhida®) Approved in China for ADHD Treatment

Recently, ArkBio, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, announced that the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) has approved the new drug application for compound dexmethylphenidate hydrochloride and serdexmethylphenidate capsules (Aizhida®), indicated for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in patients aged 6 years and older.

Aizhida® is an ADHD treatment drug with an innovative mechanism, and is the world's first and currently only combination formulation containing immediate-release dexmethylphenidate (d-MPH) and prodrug serdexmethylphenidate (SDX). By modulating brain neurotransmitters associated with ADHD, it provides patients with a treatment option featuring both rapid onset and long-acting effects. The drug was approved in the United States in March 2021, becoming the first new-generation methylphenidate drug approved by the FDA in nearly two decades, with clear advantages in safety and therapeutic mechanism.

Zhipu AI Participates in Malaysia's Sovereign AI Development

Recently, Malaysia's national MaaS platform and national sovereign AI talent cultivation laboratory Z·UM AI Lab was launched and became operational.
