MediLink Therapeutics Presents Three Innovative Research Findings at AACR 2025

At the 2025 American Association for Cancer Research (AACR 2025) annual meeting, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company MediLink Therapeutics presented two latest preclinical datasets and its next-generation ADC dual-toxin platform.

Among them, YL217 is a CDH17-targeting ADC built on MediLink's TMALIN® platform, designed to release its payload in tumor cells and the tumor microenvironment. YL217 demonstrated excellent tumor-killing efficacy and favorable tolerability in both in vitro and in vivo models with high or low CDH17 expression.

YL242 is a non-internalizing ADC targeting soluble VEGF, also built on the TMALIN® platform. It aims to combine anti-angiogenic effects via VEGF targeting with tumor microenvironment-released cytotoxic payload to exert anti-tumor activity. YL242 showed significant dose-dependent tumor-killing effects in tumor xenograft mouse models and good tolerability in non-human primate toxicology studies.

MediLink also developed an innovative dual-payload ADC with a dual mechanism of action combining a topoisomerase I inhibitor and a microtubule inhibitor. This dual-payload toxin conjugated with trastuzumab demonstrated good stability, homogeneity, and precise DAR value.

M20 Genomics Contributes to Mapping Alzheimer's Model FFPE Sample Transcriptome Atlas

Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company M20 Genomics contributed to research published in Nature Communications (impact factor: 14.7) by teams from Southeast University, Yangzhou University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health. By combining cold enzymatic dissociation (CED) with the VITA next-generation single-cell transcriptome platform (snRandom-seq in the paper), the team established the high-fidelity single-nucleus transcriptome technology snCED-seq and performed single-nucleus transcriptome analysis on FFPE samples from Alzheimer's disease (AD) mouse model brain tissue, revealing pathological changes in key neuroglial cell subpopulations and further expanding the application boundaries of FFPE samples in neurodegenerative disease research.

This study systematically validated the feasibility and advantages of combining cold enzymatic dissociation for nucleus extraction with snRandom-seq technology for FFPE samples. Cold enzymatic dissociation significantly improved nucleus extraction efficiency and RNA quality from FFPE samples. Combined with the snRandom-seq platform, the research not only comprehensively depicted AD-related transcriptional features across multiple brain cell types and identified microglial and astrocyte subpopulations closely associated with AD onset, but also discovered a set of disease-susceptibility genes triggering convergent transcriptional responses across different cell types, synergistically driving AD onset and progression — providing important clues for further parsing cellular heterogeneity and transcriptional changes in AD models.
