R&D Progress

MicroPort EndoMed Establishes Asia-Pacific's First RIRS Training Center in Singapore

Recently, the "Miniaturization in Endourology: Innovations & Techniques in fURS, mPCNL & ECIRS" symposium hosted by MicroPort EndoMed was successfully held at TTSH Hospital in Singapore. On this occasion, MicroPort EndoMed's first RIRS Training Center in the Asia-Pacific region was simultaneously established in Singapore, marking the formal creation of a systematic RIRS training platform in the region.

The burden of stone disease continues to rise in the Asia-Pacific region, placing higher demands on efficient, safe, and standardized minimally invasive treatment solutions. The uneven level of technical expertise across the region also calls for more systematic training and exchange mechanisms. Smaller outer diameter, larger vision. This is not only a choice of technical direction but also a shared responsibility that MicroPort EndoMed undertakes for the industry and patients. The Singapore TTSH Workshop is just the starting point; the establishment of the Asia-Pacific's first RIRS Training Center represents a longer-term vision — making advanced minimally invasive technology a shared regional capability rather than the exclusive advantage of a few centers.
