Going forward, both parties will also conduct further exploration around data theme design, data structuring, training effectiveness evaluation, and robot capability verification based on actual needs arising from model training.
04/ XSKY Reaches Strategic Partnership with GPUStack
Recently, the GPUStack AI Infra Ecosystem and Technology Innovation Conference was held in Beijing. At the conference, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company XSKY formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement with GPUStack. Both parties will leverage their respective strengths in AI data infrastructure and model deployment management, collaborating on shared KV Cache, inference acceleration, and heterogeneous compute adaptation to jointly build AI infrastructure for Token factories.

The essence of this cooperation is deep synergy between the storage layer and compute scheduling layer. The combination of XSKY MeshFusion's shared cache capabilities and GPUStack's model deployment management capabilities enables KV Cache to truly move from underlying technical capability to model deployment and operations workflows. As AI applications evolve from single-turn Q&A to complex workflows, this integrated "storage + compute" architecture provides enterprises with a viable path for AI implementation that balances efficiency and cost.
Product Launches
01/ Axera Officially Launches M9 Series
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Axera officially launched its M9 series of high-end intelligent driving chips. The flagship M97 and mainstream M95 are two 5nm advanced-process automotive-grade chips with AI compute power up to 720 TOPS, built on a unified architecture that systematically resolves the underlying bottlenecks for large-model intelligent driving deployment across compute, frame rate, latency, image quality, and memory bandwidth.

As of August 2026, Axera's cumulative global shipments of intelligent driving chips have exceeded 1.6 million units, with the M5 series already achieving large-scale mass production deployment. Building on this established industrial scale, the launch of the M9 series high-end intelligent driving chips carries a core strategic mission: to build an autonomous and controllable domestic intelligent driving compute foundation, adhering to "open ecosystem, no competition with partners," and fully unleashing the algorithmic autonomy of automakers and Tier 1 suppliers. The M9 series launch also marks Axera's strategic upgrade from scaled mass production in assisted driving to breakthrough in the high-end intelligent driving market.
02/ DeepWise Launches Solid-State Electrolyte Intelligent R&D Large-Scale Facility Product
Recently, at the 2026 World Power Battery Conference held in Yibin, Sichuan, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company DeepWise formally unveiled its solid-state electrolyte intelligent R&D large-scale facility product to the global audience.

This public product launch signifies that this R&D infrastructure has officially moved from proof-of-concept to industrial-scale application. The large-scale facility打通 the complete technical chain of read-compute-do, with MatMaster playing the role of "AI scientist" for assisted decision-making; using the DPA-4 large atomic scientific model as the computational foundation, it derives the solid-state electrolyte vertical DPA-SSE model, relying on the Uni-Lab-OS intelligent laboratory system, combined with critical process modifications including mixing and sintering and full-process automation, to achieve deep integration of computation and physical experimentation, building a closed-loop iterative optimization self-developed system.
Technology & Capabilities
01/ Sharpa and DQ Launch World's First "Zero Retrofit, Fully Autonomous, Year-Round" Robot Restaurant
Recently, the world's first "zero retrofit, fully autonomous, year-round" robot Blizzard restaurant opened at DQ's Shanghai Wujiang Road location. This restaurant, jointly created by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Sharpa and Dairy Queen (hereinafter "DQ"), a globally renowned ice cream and fast-food chain operated by CFB Group, marks Sharpa's first industry achievement of completing complex production tasks in a real commercial scenario: fully autonomously executing the 55-step complex continuous process from order to production to delivery of a Blizzard ice cream, operating stably during daily business hours from 10:00 to 22:00, year-round, without continuous human control.
This collaboration marks Sharpa's overcoming of three major challenges in commercial robot deployment: heavy reliance on customized equipment for deployment, insufficient AI capabilities to support complex long-horizon tasks, and inadequate reliability to stably create commercial value. The robot restaurant jointly created by Sharpa and DQ formally advances the evaluation standard for robot commercialization from "completing tasks" to a new stage of "delivering complete productivity."
