Azstarys

Azstarys (marketed in China as 爱智达® / Aizhida) is a best-in-class ADHD treatment drug developed by Ark Biosciences (爱科百发), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company. It is the world's first and only fixed-dose combination of immediate-release dextroamphetamine (d-MPH) and the prodrug serdexmethylphenidate (SDX), designed to provide both rapid onset and extended duration of effect by modulating dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake . The drug was first approved by the U.S. FDA in March 2021—the first new-generation methylphenidate approved in nearly two decades—and gained NMPA approval in China in early 2026 for patients aged 6 and older . In March 2026, Ark Biosciences licensed exclusive mainland China commercialization rights to Qilu Pharmaceutical (齐鲁制药) in a deal worth up to ¥470 million in milestone payments plus royalties .
