Biointron

Biointron (百英生物) is an antibody-discovery CRO founded in 2012, operating R&D and production facilities in Shanghai Zhoupu and Jiangsu Taizhou with a US business and logistics base . The company positions itself as a national high-tech enterprise serving global drug developers, diagnostics firms, vaccine makers and cell-therapy companies with end-to-end antibody discovery services . Its technical stack spans high-throughput recombinant protein production, single-B-cell antibody screening, phage-display libraries, nanobody development (llama and shark), and stable cell-line development including ECACC CHO-K1 global licensing rights . In August 2022 Biointron closed a nearly RMB 500 million Series B round led by a syndicate of more than ten institutions including Cornerstone Capital, LYFE Capital, Gaorong Ventures, TaiheCap and Haitong Venture Capital, with proceeds earmarked for expanding CRO service capacity, building smart-manufacturing R&D lines and strengthening overseas channels . Gaorong Ventures lists Biointron among its healthcare portfolio alongside companies such as Waterdrop, Ping An Good Doctor and Mirxes .
