CEIBS

CEIBS is the China Europe International Business School, a Shanghai-based business school whose faculty are regularly cited in venture-capital and tech-industry contexts. As 36氪 reported in late 2022, CEIBS strategy professor Chen Weiru (陈威如) has been invited by funds such as Gaorong Capital to brief frontier-tech founders on how emerging technologies can drive industrial win-win upgrades, in settings such as a BYD-hosted gathering of robotics, chip and SaaS companies . More recently, CEIBS professor Lan Xiaohuan (兰小欢), author of the bestseller *置身事内* (sold roughly 3 million copies), has appeared on VC podcasts including one by Oasis Capital in 2025 to discuss his field research and writing on China's manufacturing economy . CEIBS entrepreneurship professor Li Shanyou (李善友), formerly a Sohu executive and founder of video platform Ku6, is also profiled in the same podcast series as the founder of Chaos (混沌) and a proponent of "second curve" and "first principles" frameworks for innovators .
