Cong Wang

Cong Wang is the CEO of D-Robotics (地瓜机器人), a robotics platform company he led out of Horizon Robotics as an independent spin-off, where it's now positioned around building what a Unity Ventures piece calls the "'Wintel' of the robotics industry" — and, in a more recent framing from August 2026, the "NVIDIA of embodied AI" . He joined Horizon in 2018, working in the strategy department on AIoT market exploration and later on AI Infra plus marketing and BD for the AIoT unit, before rising to head its AIoT & general robotics division — a role he's quoted in under Linear Capital's 2022 coverage of Horizon's robotics development platform . Lately he's been talking about developer ecosystems and commercialization on the embodied-AI track, telling *China Entrepreneur* magazine that "embodied intelligence will become a new productive force driving industrial change" .
