Cyber Kunlun (赛博昆仑) is a Chinese cybersecurity company and a ZhenFund angel-backed portfolio company , built around offensive-defensive vulnerability research — its security researchers have placed repeatedly on industry leaderboards, with six researchers in the top 50 of one "most valuable" ranking as of mid-2024 . That same year it drew two Pwnie Awards nominations — the so-called "Oscars of white-hat hacking" — for a VMware Workstation escape and a Microsoft RCE flaw, making it the most-nominated vendor at the 2024 awards , and it was named a CNNVD core technology support pilot unit while landing on the 2024 GEI China big-data potential-unicorn list . More recently, per ZhenFund's reporting, it teamed up with Zhipu AI, combining its attack-defense experience and vulnerability knowledge base with the GLM model's long-horizon reasoning to discover and report three major vulnerabilities affecting Microsoft's enterprise email and office systems .
