Daxiao Robotics

Daxiao Robotics is an embodied-AI startup built around "world models" — its self-developed Kairos world model (version 3.0) and an ACE full-stack R&D paradigm centered on "human-centric" environmental data collection — with the stated mission of "giving every robot a smart brain" . Its chairman and founder is Wang Xiaogang, a co-founder and executive director of SenseTime, and the team claims two of the world's top-5 Chinese computer scientists per Research.com (Wang Xiaogang and Dacheng Tao), alongside AI scientists from NTU, HKU, and CUHK . The company has moved fast on funding: an angel round in early 2026 (Qiming Venture Partners participating), followed by an angel+ round by June 2026, bringing cumulative H1 2026 fundraising to several hundred million dollars, earmarked for world-model development and integrated software-hardware solutions for smart retail, security patrol, cultural tourism, and hospitality scenarios . It also struck a strategic partnership with SenseTime and Sugon at the HAIC2025 conference in December 2025 , and per Qiming's portfolio updates, its robot-dog patrol solution has already been deployed for routine unmanned patrols in Shanghai's West Bund area .
