Daxiao Robotics Closes Angel+ Round
Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Daxiao Robotics recently completed its Angel+ funding round, bringing its total raised in the first half of 2026 to several hundred million dollars. The new capital will primarily fund development of its world model and integrated "software-hardware" commercial solutions. Leveraging its human-centric environmental data collection approach, the company aims to accelerate breakthroughs and deployment of its Kaiwu world model in large-scale embodied AI training and edge-side direct-drive control — further cementing its global lead in world models. It will also build out full-stack, integrated solutions for smart retail, security patrol, cultural tourism, hospitality, and other commercial scenarios, deepening open collaboration with upstream and downstream partners to build an open, synergistic embodied AI ecosystem.
"Embodied AI represents the next era of artificial intelligence, and the 'strongest brain' built around world models is the key to unlocking it," said Xiaogang Wang, Chairman of Daxiao Robotics. "We will continue to pursue fundamental technology innovation with our mission of giving every robot a smart brain, translating cutting-edge embodied AI into new productive forces that drive industry forward and accelerate the arrival of embodied AI's 'ChatGPT moment.'"

WeRide WRD 3.0 Debuts at Qualcomm Summit
At the 2026 Qualcomm Automotive Technology and Ecosystem Summit in Wuxi, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD, 0800.HK) showcased its L2++ single-stack end-to-end solution WRD 3.0, alongside the debut of the GAC Aion N60 — the first mass-production passenger vehicle built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon SA8650 platform with WeRide's technology. The N60's ADAS technology comes from WeRide, and vehicles equipped with WRD 3.0 scored 102.81 points to win a fifth consecutive championship at the 2nd China Intelligent Driving Competition Hefei Station last month, setting a new record for consecutive wins.

Notably, the GAC Aion N60 is not only WeRide's first mass-production passenger vehicle with GAC but also marks WeRide's first commercial deployment of single-stack end-to-end technology on a Qualcomm Snapdragon platform. Powered by WeRide WRD 3.0, the N60 uses multi-target intent prediction and full-scene semantic recognition to proactively understand the behavioral states of different traffic participants. This highly human-like "thinking" enables the N60 to anticipate potential risks and dynamically adjust speed and path when facing non-motorized vehicles weaving through traffic, pedestrians darting across, urban villages, and multi-level interchanges — unstructured scenarios where it can maintain safety margins without the efficiency losses of excessive conservatism.

DeepWay Completes Maersk Delivery
Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company DeepWay recently completed a delivery ceremony with Maersk, a global leader in integrated logistics, at Shanghai Lingang. Ten intelligent new-energy heavy-duty trucks are now in commercial operation, dedicated to container shuttle services between Maersk's Lingang integrated logistics flagship warehouse and Shanghai Yangshan Deep Water Port. With this delivery, Maersk will establish a low-carbon land transport link covering the "last mile" before export and "first mile" after import, using low-carbon, intelligent new capacity to build an efficient bridge between warehousing hubs and international maritime ports.

The scaled deployment in benchmark port logistics scenarios like Maersk has generated massive real-world operational data and corner-case extreme condition samples for DeepWay, effectively enhancing vehicle perception, decision-making, and execution capabilities in complex port environments and further refining the commercial deployment of advanced autonomous driving across diverse scenarios.

Belief BioMed's BBM-P002 Clinical Study Published in Nature Medicine
Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Belief BioMed, an innovative gene therapy company, announced that early clinical study results for its self-developed BBM-P002 in mid-to-late stage Parkinson's disease patients have been published in the international journal Nature Medicine (IF=50). The paper, titled "Dual-target gene therapy in Parkinson's disease: a multicenter phase 1 trial," was conducted by teams led by Dr. Jun Liu at Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and Dr. Lu Shen at Xiangya Hospital, Central South University (ClinicalTrials.gov: NCT05822739).

The BBM-P002 study is a multicenter, single-arm, open-label safety and preliminary efficacy trial that enrolled 10 subjects across multiple dose cohorts. It evaluates the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of stereotactic bilateral putaminal injection of BBM-P002 for mid-to-late stage Parkinson's disease. Follow-up comprises a primary study phase of 52 weeks post-dosing and a long-term follow-up phase from 52 weeks to 5 years. All subjects have completed the 52-week primary study phase and entered long-term follow-up. The published data represents interim results after all subjects completed their 52-week primary study visits.

Unisound Officially Releases Next-Generation General-Purpose LLM — U2
Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Unisound (09678.HK) has officially released its next-generation general-purpose large language model, U2. As a native intelligent agent LLM designed for individuals, developers, and organizations, U2's technical philosophy is deliberately focused: high intelligence density × high token value. Rather than blindly stacking parameters, it pursues high intelligence density — delivering stronger capabilities with fewer activated resources. Rather than simply competing on output length, it pursues high token value — making every inference call closer to a deliverable result.

Unlike traditional LLMs that lean toward single-turn Q&A or short-chain generation, U2 emphasizes continuous execution capability for real-world tasks. In complex office work, software engineering, deep research, and multi-tool collaboration scenarios, U2 can autonomously decompose and advance 100+ step complex workflows, chaining together requirement understanding, task planning, environmental interaction, tool invocation, error correction, and result verification into a complete closed loop — moving from "giving answers" to "getting things done."
