Flexiv

Flexiv is a general-purpose robotics company founded in 2016 by Wang Shiquan (王世全) and several Stanford alumni , with Wang serving as co-founder and CEO . The company develops adaptive robots built on proprietary force control and AI technology, positioning itself as a "third-generation" robotics player . Its product line includes Rizon, the first adaptive robotic arm unveiled at Hannover Messe in 2019; Moonlight (玄晖), launched in 2023 as the world's first force-controlled parallel robot; and composite mobile adaptive robots for applications like automated EV charging . In 2023, Flexiv strategically incubated Noematrix (穹彻智能), an embodied intelligence company co-founded by its chief AI scientist Lu Cewu to focus on large-model robotics . The company closed an over-$100 million Series C round in June 2025, co-led by Yonggui Fund and GF Xinde Investment Management, with Gaorong Ventures and other existing shareholders re-upping, to accelerate full commercialization .
