NeuroXess

NeuroXess (优脑银河) is a Beijing-based brain science company founded in 2018 by Harvard Medical School professor Hesheng Liu, MIT academics Robert Desimone and Guoping Feng, and serial entrepreneur Wei Kecheng, who serves as co-founder and CEO . The company builds on Liu's decade-plus of research at Harvard Medical School to develop individualized precision brain mapping and therapeutic technologies for brain diseases, operating what it calls an "individual precision brain platform" that enables doctors to observe human brain function and connectivity at the neural circuit level .

FreeS Fund led NeuroXess's RMB 42 million angel round in September 2019 , and within roughly two years the company had raised over $100 million in total financing . FreeS has continued to back the firm as part of its broader brain and neuroscience investment thesis, alongside portfolio companies like Kunmai Medical, Qiongding Medical, and Shize Bio . NeuroXess's technology integrates signal processing, computing, electromagnetic waves, and hardware-software systems to provide detection, diagnosis, and treatment capabilities for conditions including brain tumors, stroke, epilepsy, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, schizophrenia, OCD, and depression .
