Nuclei System Technology

Nuclei System Technology (芯来科技) is a Chinese RISC-V CPU IP company founded in 2018, among the first domestically to build an application ecosystem around the open instruction set architecture and achieve commercial scale . The company develops self-controllable CPU IP cores and has shipped multiple product lines spanning high-performance, ultra-low-power, security, and automotive-grade segments, with over 100 customers formally licensing its products as of 2022 . Its founder Hu Zhenbo has described the firm's path as starting from scratch to address what he called a "fatal soft underbelly" of domestic semiconductors — the foundational IP layer long dominated by foreign giants .

The company raised a new round of several hundred million yuan in August 2022, led by Legend Capital with follow-on from BlueRun Ventures, which had backed Nuclei from Pre-A and A rounds onward . BlueRun managing partner Chen Weiguang noted that the firm had accompanied the team "from zero" as it built out a competitive product matrix and full-stack SoC IP platform . More recently, as of early 2024, Nuclei launched the N100 ultra-low-power embedded series, the NI900 AI-dedicated processor line, and the NS100 security-focused core, completing its NS family .
