Qihoo 360

Qihoo 360 is a Chinese internet security company best known for its web browser and cybersecurity products. Zhou Hongyi, who described himself in a 2025 interview as having spent 27 years as an entrepreneur, remains closely associated with the company and its strategic direction toward AI agents . The company has served as a launchpad for notable tech executives: Binson Liu, former Bilibili VP, previously served as assistant president at 360 before founding AI startup Heart Shadow Follows Form in 2023 ; and Tong Chao, now co-founder of AI video startup Mootion, was previously 360's head of AI products .

360 has also pursued partnerships in AI infrastructure, announcing a strategic collaboration with GPU startup Moore Threads in August 2024 , and in chip design—Guoxin Technology, an IoT AI chip firm, listed 360 among its deep cooperation partners . The company's fintech spinoff, 360 Finance, was incubated internally beginning in 2015, split from 360's "aircraft carrier fleet" strategy in 2016, and reached NASDAQ by December 2018 . At that time, 360 was described as an internet giant connecting over 1 billion devices, giving 360 Finance significant traffic and customer acquisition advantages .
