Windrose Technology (苇渡科技) is a Chinese new-energy autonomous heavy-duty truck developer that bills itself as the country's first pure ground-up designer of electric self-driving tractor-trailers, with in-house work spanning wire-control architecture, electric powertrain, vehicle exterior and interior, and a fully redundant chassis built for L4 autonomy . Yunqi Capital co-led the company's Series A in mid-2023 alongside FountainVest Partners, a round of several-hundred-million yuan meant to push its first product toward the China, U.S. and European markets . By late 2023 the WH11 model had logged a record-low drag-coefficient result at CATARC and the company had partnered with global industrial-property group Goodman to install fast-charging infrastructure . It subsequently closed a hundred-million-yuan Series B1 in early 2024 and picked up fresh funding again that spring as it began rolling out megawatt-level ultra-fast chargers and road-testing globally . Yunqi, which counts the firm among its A-round lead bets, has featured Windrose in its portfolio as an example of "smart" heavy trucks gaining traction in Europe and the U.S. .
