Xinliangji is a Chinese catering supply chain company founded in April 2016 by Li Jian, who also founded the New Spicy Way restaurant group . The company produces standardized food products—most notably crayfish and other spicy dishes—and supplies them via cold chain to partner restaurants . It operates over 200,000 mu of proprietary aquaculture bases in Shandong and Hubei, alongside five processing factories .
FreeS Fund led a RMB 50 million pre-Series A round in Xinliangji in February 2017, marking the firm's first catering-sector investment, and continued to back the company in subsequent rounds including a RMB 120 million round in July 2017 and a further RMB 300 million raise in mid-2019 .
