Yubin Huang

Yubin Huang is a founding managing partner of Yunqi Capital, the Beijing-based venture firm he co-founded with Michael Mao in 2014 . The firm was among China's earliest to specialize in "technology innovation × industrial empowerment," and Huang has spent over 25 years in the venture industry . He remains active in Yunqi's day-to-day leadership: as of early 2026 he still holds the title of founding managing partner, working alongside Mao and managing partner Chen Yu to steer the team . Huang has spoken publicly on enterprise software investing and AIGC opportunities, including at a Stanford alumni gathering hosted at Yunqi's courtyard space in spring 2023 . He and Mao have been named to Forbes China's Best Venture Capitalists list for nine consecutive years through 2025 .
