Zelgen is the English name used for 泽安生物医药 (LTZ Therapeutics), a clinical-stage biotechnology company founded in 2022 by CEO Jinze Li . It develops novel immunotherapies based on its proprietary U-MCE™ (Universal Myeloid Cell Engager) platform, with a focus on myeloid cell engager (MCE) therapies for cancer and autoimmune diseases . Its lead pipeline asset is LTZ-301, currently in Phase I studies at U.S. clinical centers, while a second candidate, LTZ-232, is advancing toward IND and Phase I initiation . The company raised $38 million in May 2026, bringing total funding to roughly $130 million since inception; backers include Qiming Venture Partners, 5Y Capital, BlueRun Ventures (Lanchi Ventures), GL Ventures, and others . In late 2025, tumor immunology veteran Mark Selby, formerly of Bristol Myers Squibb, joined as VP and Head of Research .
