Source Code Capital portfolio company Dustess announced the completion of its Series B funding round, with existing shareholder Source Code Capital continuing to increase its stake.

An all-in-one private-domain traffic operations platform that helps enterprises close six major marketing loops and complete their digital transformation.

Dustess, an enterprise service company focused on SCRM, announced it has raised $20 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Hillhouse, with Yuanjing Capital co-investing, and existing shareholders Source Code Capital and Oasis Capital participating. This marks the fourth funding round Dustess has disclosed this year — Source Code Capital led the company's Series A. The rapid pace of fundraising reflects not only capital markets' strong confidence in Dustess, but also validates the company's leadership position in the SCRM services sector.

Cumulative funding exceeds 200 million RMB; top-tier product capabilities drive high-speed growth

This year, Dustess announced the completion of its angel round (September 2019), Pre-A round (April 2020), and Series A (June 2020), raising 10 million RMB, $4 million, and $6 million respectively. Investors included Source Code Capital, Oasis Capital, Cloopen, and other technology-focused investment institutions and notable entrepreneurs. With this additional $20 million Series B, Dustess's total funding has surpassed 200 million RMB.

Since its founding in 2019, Dustess has rapidly grown into a high-tech enterprise with 14 departments and over 300 employees, built on WeCom-based SCRM services. Beyond its Beijing headquarters, the company has established branches in Chengdu, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Xiamen, and Shandong, with nationwide service coverage. To date, Dustess serves more than 5,000 enterprise clients across over 30 industries, including financial insurance, education and training, medical and aesthetic services, retail e-commerce, lifestyle services, technology and internet, and traditional manufacturing. Recognized for its outstanding performance in private traffic operations and enterprise digital transformation, Dustess won two major awards at the 2020 China Enterprise Service Annual Conference: "2020 China SCRM Enterprise of the Year" and "2020 China SCRM Excellence in Product Award."

Behind Dustess's rapid growth lies industry-leading technical strength. The company maintains an R&D team of more than 100 people, with core technical leaders each having over ten years of development experience. Few companies in the WeCom SCRM space have R&D teams of comparable scale. Zhibin Cai, founder and CEO of Dustess, said: "Dustess's growth stems from our absolute technical advantage. This round of funding will be primarily directed toward product R&D and market expansion. On the foundation of further extending our technical and product leadership, we will provide more enterprises with personalized, customized private traffic operation and digital transformation solutions — fueling growth and lightening the load of transformation."

One-stop private traffic operation platform empowers sustained rapid enterprise growth

This year, the continuing pandemic has acted as a catalyst, exposing operational weaknesses in enterprises. Those with low risk tolerance and low digital maturity have found themselves at a loss in the new market environment, with some even facing collapse. Private traffic and digitalization have become industry-wide trends, with related demand surging.

Riding the macro trend is the choice most enterprises have made. Yet how to effectively operate private traffic and achieve seamless digital transformation remains a puzzle for the majority. Addressing this market reality, Dustess leveraged the WeCom open ecosystem to pioneer a one-stop private traffic operation platform — Dustess SCRM. Embodying WeCom's "people as service" philosophy, the platform helps enterprises connect six key marketing loops: customer acquisition and lead generation, brand persona building, communication efficiency, customer filtering, precision conversion, and transaction analysis. This enables enterprises to achieve refined private traffic operations and complete digital transformation.

Dustess recently launched online store, group buying, coupon, and marketing裂变 (viral growth) features. These not only address traditional brick-and-mortar stores' urgent need for online operations, but also drive rapid growth in enterprise customer resources and significant increases in transactions and repeat purchases through promotional discounts and viral acquisition tactics. Building on its comprehensive product functionality, Dustess also provides customized solution consulting tailored to the specific pain points of different industries, ensuring every individual enterprise can benefit from digital marketing dividends.

The pandemic's impact this year has provided the entire industry with a thorough education on private traffic and digitalization trends, and related demand is poised for another surge in 2021. As a pioneer in China's SCRM enterprise services and a leader in the SCRM赛道, Dustess will accelerate product upgrades through greater R&D investment, using refined products and meticulous services to help enterprises expand their private traffic pools and achieve sustained, rapid revenue growth.
