YolTech Therapeutics Closes Nearly 500 Million Yuan Series C Round Led by Loyal Valley Capital | Unity Ventures Portfolio News

Unity Ventures portfolio company YolTech Therapeutics today announced the completion of a nearly RMB 500 million Series C funding round. The round was led by Loyal Valley Capital, with participation from SSCI Leading Fund, Minjin Investment, and Deyue Investment, while existing shareholders K2VC Qiyun, Farwing Capital, and Tianjin Venture Capital increased their stakes.
Founded in 2021, YolTech Therapeutics is dedicated to developing in vivo gene editing medicines with the potential for "one dose, lifelong cure."
The company boasts a world-class gene editing R&D team and has independently built a high-throughput editor mining and evolution platform, as well as a non-viral LNP delivery platform targeting different tissues and organs. It has developed a series of gene editors and LNP delivery systems with global independent intellectual property rights.
YolTech Therapeutics now has six pipeline programs in clinical stages, making it the company with the most in vivo gene editing pipeline programs in clinical stages worldwide.
In 2024, YolTech's independently developed YOLT-201 for the treatment of ATTR amyloidosis became China's first LNP-based in vivo gene editing drug to enter registrational clinical trials, and has now completed dosing for all patients in the Phase 1/2a clinical trial.
In 2025, the FDA approved YolTech Therapeutics' YOLT-203 for the treatment of primary hyperoxaluria to enter confirmatory clinical trials in the United States.
Additionally, YolTech Therapeutics' pipeline programs for common diseases such as hypercholesterolemia and alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, as well as other critical illnesses, have also entered clinical stages, demonstrating promising safety and efficacy profiles.
