OriCell Therapeutics Announces $110 Million Pre-IPO Round, Co-Led by Qiming Venture Partners
Global leader in innovative tumor immunotherapy

Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company OriCell Therapeutics, a global leader in innovative tumor immunotherapy, has officially announced the completion of a cumulative $110 million Pre-IPO financing round. The proceeds will primarily accelerate OriCell's international strategic expansion, advance the global multi-center clinical development of its core pipeline, further solidify its technological moat in cell therapy, and expedite the value realization of its commercialization pipeline — all in preparation for its upcoming capital markets milestone.

As a leading enterprise in cell therapy drugs, OriCell Therapeutics has remained dedicated to developing CAR-T cell therapies with global clinical value, having achieved confirmatory proof-of-concept (POC) clinical data across multiple pipeline programs. Leveraging its proprietary Ori®Ab antibody screening and engineering platform, Ori®Armoring structural enhancement platform, and OnGo(Fast) CMC rapid process expertise, OriCell has successfully built a differentiated product portfolio, securing a leading position in the global CAR-T technology race.
OriCell's flagship product is Ori-C101, an autologous CAR-T drug targeting GPC3 for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The product has completed investigator-initiated trials (IIT) and registrational Phase I clinical trials, with pivotal clinical trials imminent. Clinical data readouts to date have demonstrated excellent efficacy and safety profiles, with findings presented multiple times at ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting) and other top-tier international academic conferences. Given its positive clinical progress, Ori-C101 is positioned to potentially become the world's first approved CAR-T drug for hepatocellular carcinoma.
Beyond its core pipeline, OriCell's full-platform technology system continues to incubate multiple next-generation multi-target, multi-mechanism CAR-T products, including secretory, rapid-manufacturing, and several in vivo CAR-T programs.
Dr. Huanfeng Yang, Chairman and CEO of OriCell Therapeutics, stated: "We are deeply grateful to our investors for their strong recognition of our vision and technological capabilities. This financing round represents a significant milestone in OriCell's development journey. We will continue to focus on global clinical advancement of our core pipeline, deepen R&D in revolutionary technologies such as in vivo CAR-T and solid tumor CAR-T, and fully capitalize on our multiple advantages in technical accumulation, policy environment, and market demand to accelerate development speed, reduce costs, and improve accessibility for our clinical-stage products. Our goal is to bring new curative hope to cancer patients worldwide with more breakthrough cell therapy solutions, and steadily advance toward becoming a global leader in immunotherapy."
William Hu, Managing Partner of Qiming Venture Partners, commented: "As an early investor that has accompanied OriCell since its Pre-A round, we have witnessed every step of the company's journey — from technology exploration to pipeline execution and clinical progress, from local innovation to global expansion. We look forward to OriCell achieving next-generation cancer treatment through breakthrough cell therapy solutions and superior clinical data, delivering curative hope to patients worldwide."
This financing round was co-led by Vivo Capital, Beijing Medical and Health Industry Investment Fund, Qiming Venture Partners, and a globally leading healthcare fund, with follow-on investments from a prominent international sovereign fund, Beijing E-Town International Investment & Development Co., Ltd., Luxin Venture Capital Group Co.,Ltd., NGS (Australia's pension industry fund), Lichen Capital, Ruifeng Capital, and other notable institutions.
