2025 New Economy Enterprises TOP 500

Selection Criteria

This year's evaluation screened over 15,000 market entities to form a sample pool of more than 5,000 companies, using market valuation as of June 30, 2025 as the primary ranking metric. The methodology incorporates 15 sub-indicators across seven categories: enterprise scale, profitability, growth velocity, innovation-driven performance, social contribution, social impact, and internationalization level. The innovation-driven indicator carries the highest weight at 25%. All data underwent multiple rounds of cross-verification to ensure the results are objective, traceable, and auditable.

The China Enterprise Evaluation Association noted that shifts in enterprise rankings reflect a broader transition in China's new economy competition — moving beyond platform traffic and business model rivalry toward technological industrialization, engineering implementation, and scalable delivery capabilities. Overall, regional development of China's new economy is evolving from scale aggregation to quality improvement, with cities continuously strengthening modern industrial systems, innovation ecosystems, capital element support, and enterprise capability enhancement to jointly promote diversified, coordinated, and high-quality development of new economy industries.
