Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company WeRide launches one-stage end-to-end ADAS solution, set for mass production in 2025

Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD) officially launched "WePilot AiDrive," a one-stage end-to-end advanced driver-assistance solution developed in partnership with Bosch Group — just six months after the two companies' two-stage end-to-end solution entered mass production.

WePilot AiDrive has completed core function validation and is expected to enter mass production within 2025, helping propel the global ADAS industry toward more intelligent, efficient, and universally accessible large-scale deployment.

The architecture-level optimization enabled by one-stage end-to-end technology also gives WeRide WePilot AiDrive three key advantages: scalable compute adaptation, adaptability to different sensor configurations, and rapid iteration cycles measured in days. WeRide WePilot AiDrive supports both multi-modal sensor fusion and pure vision perception; it can be adapted to high-compute platforms, and through model distillation, quickly adapted to mid- and low-compute platforms as well. Through middleware, it decouples the algorithm layer from hardware and underlying software, modularizing L2 ADAS functions for rapid deployment and mass production.

Leveraging massive amounts of driving data, WeRide WePilot AiDrive can automatically generate training labels, continuously expanding model coverage of edge cases and further strengthening the system's understanding and handling of long-tail scenarios.
