Qiming Star | Enginprime Medical Closes Nearly 100 Million Yuan Series A Round, Solely Invested by Qiming Venture Partners

J&T Global Express focuses on the percutaneous ventricular assist device (pVAD) track, dedicated to developing a new generation of small-size, high-flow ventricular assist systems.

Enginprime Medical recently announced the completion of a nearly 100 million yuan Series A funding round, with Qiming Venture Partners as the sole investor. The proceeds will primarily accelerate domestic registration clinical trials for the company's core product, OpusOne™, while fully supporting the filing and execution of early-stage overseas clinical trials.

Founded in 2023, Enginprime Medical was established by Wojie Capital alongside its industrial ecosystem and a team of senior engineers. The company focuses on the percutaneous ventricular assist device (pVAD) space, dedicated to developing a new generation of compact, high-flow ventricular assist systems.

Zhiyong Liu, General Manager of Enginprime Medical, stated: "We are grateful to Qiming Venture Partners and our existing shareholder Wojie Capital for their support and recognition of the Enginprime team and our technology. OpusOne™ features fully independent intellectual property rights. Through optimized product design, we have achieved 100% localization of our supply chain, giving us significant cost advantages while ensuring product stability and quality. We have always been committed to building a truly globally competitive interventional ventricular assist system. Following this funding round, we will accelerate the global clinical and regulatory efforts for OpusOne™ to benefit more patients as soon as possible."

Shuo Mao, Executive Director at Qiming Venture Partners, commented: "The foldable impeller pVAD achieves greater assist flow in a smaller form factor through innovative structural design, effectively reducing postoperative complications and expanding the eligible patient population and range of indications — delivering significant clinical value. Currently, no such innovative product has received regulatory approval globally, making this a frontier, uncharted territory. The Enginprime team possesses solid industrialization experience and deep clinical insight. We believe that with the synergistic enablement of the core team and shareholders, the company's differentiated pVAD technology has the potential to fill a global market gap and bring novel, efficient therapeutic benefits to patients worldwide."
