WeRide Supports Inclusive Care Program for Children and Adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities
Recently, the "CapitaLand · Xinrong Project — Make a 'Star' Friend: Co-Creation and Inclusive Care Program for Children and Adolescents with Intellectual Disabilities, 'Star' Journey — Guangzhou Somerset Bio-Island Service Apartment Special Event," jointly initiated by Ascott properties and hotels in the Guangzhou region, organized by the Guangzhou Yang'ai Special Children Parents Club, and supported by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD), opened on Guangzhou Bio-Island.
During the event, WeRide prepared a "Star Wish Fleet" composed of autonomous shuttle buses (Robobuses) for the "heart youths," allowing them to experience cutting-edge technology while feeling that "unmanned" can be another form of companionship. Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Zhipu AI announced at its Open Platform Industry Ecosystem Conference that it has received a strategic investment, which will inject solid momentum into building trustworthy AI infrastructure.

HyperStrong Signs Framework Cooperation Agreement with Singapore Energy Infrastructure Developer Alpina
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company HyperStrong (688411.SH) signed a framework cooperation memorandum of understanding with Singapore energy infrastructure developer Alpina. HyperStrong will provide 5,000 integrated charging and storage units to the company from 2025 to 2027, working together to develop the Singapore and Asia-Pacific markets, realizing energy storage applications in the rapidly growing electric vehicle charging market, and jointly injecting strong momentum into the integrated development of energy storage and charging in the Asia-Pacific region.

In this cooperation, HyperStrong's product offering is full of highlights. As a newly upgraded fully liquid-cooled integrated charging and storage unit, the product features built-in semi-solid-state batteries and AI-powered intelligent early warning capabilities, with comprehensive three-dimensional fire protection achieving detection, prevention, venting, and suppression for multiple layers of protection and intrinsic safety at charging stations. The entire station shares energy, supporting DC and AC coupling, integrating multiple energy conversions including solar and wind power to achieve full-station green electricity. With equivalent transformer capacity, charging piles can be over-provisioned by 2-5x, using energy storage to provide power support, increasing station charging capacity by 40%-80% and deferring transformer upgrade needs. The product also supports six application scenarios — peak shaving and valley filling, demand control, station capacity expansion, virtual power plants, reactive power regulation, and backup power — enabling diversified revenue streams.

Shangyue and Bear Electric Launch Non-Production Procurement System Project
Recently, the kickoff meeting for the non-production procurement system project of Bear Electric Co., Ltd. ("Bear Electric"), built by Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Shangyue, was successfully held.

The system will achieve full-chain digitalization and online processing from procurement planning to reconciliation and settlement, unifying the centralized procurement portal, standardizing procurement processes, and consolidating fragmented demand to build a new "sunshine procurement" ecosystem. The system will deeply integrate with Bear Electric's existing ERP, OA, financial, and IDM systems to achieve full-process online collaboration and closed-loop control; introduce self-service procurement and RPA technology to reduce transactional work and significantly improve human efficiency; and configure intelligent workstations by role to optimize internal and external collaboration experiences. Through Shangyue's highly reliable technical architecture, data security and governance capabilities will be strengthened to ensure stable system operation; at the same time, the platform features high flexibility and scalability, fully supporting Bear Electric's future procurement digitalization business expansion needs.

Wanzhongyixin Becomes Member of "Chengdu Regional Clinical Research Alliance"

Insilico Medicine Publishes AI-Driven Innovative Design Strategy for Highly Selective FGFR2/3 Inhibitors
Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Insilico Medicine recently published a study in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, combining advanced molecular modeling techniques with the company's self-developed generative AI-based chemistry engine Chemistry42 to efficiently develop highly selective FGFR2/3 inhibitors featuring novel core scaffolds — offering innovative approaches for next-generation targeted cancer therapies against FGFR2/3.

Zai Lab Partner Announces TTFields Therapy
Phase 3 PANOVA-3 Clinical Study Results in Pancreatic Cancer
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Zai Lab (NASDAQ: ZLAB, 09688.HK) partner Novocure presented the final secondary endpoint results from the phase 3 PANOVA-3 clinical study of Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) therapy in unresectable locally advanced pancreatic cancer as an oral presentation at the 2025 ESMO Gastrointestinal Cancers Congress. Data from the PANOVA-3 study were accepted as a late-breaking abstract at the congress.

The PANOVA-3 study evaluated the efficacy of TTFields therapy combined with gemcitabine and nab-paclitaxel (GnP) versus GnP alone as first-line treatment for unresectable locally advanced pancreatic cancer. The study met its primary endpoint, demonstrating a statistically significant improvement in median overall survival for patients receiving TTFields therapy.

Zai Lab Announces Positive Results from Prespecified Interim Analysis of Phase 3 Study of Bemarituzumab as First-Line Treatment
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Zai Lab (NASDAQ: ZLAB, 09688.HK) announced that the phase 3 FORTITUDE-101 clinical study evaluating bemarituzumab combined with chemotherapy (mFOLFOX6) as first-line treatment met its primary endpoint of overall survival (OS) at a prespecified interim analysis.

In patients with FGFR2b-overexpressing, non-HER2-positive unresectable locally advanced or metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction (G/GEJ) cancer, bemarituzumab plus chemotherapy showed a statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement in overall survival (OS) compared to placebo plus chemotherapy.

Jacobio Completes First Patient Dosing in United States for Pan-KRAS Inhibitor
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Jacobio (01167.HK) announced that its self-developed pan-KRAS inhibitor JAB-23E73 has completed first patient dosing in a phase 1/2a clinical trial in the United States. Dose-escalation studies in China are also progressing as planned.

JAB-23E73 is highly selective for KRAS, simultaneously inhibiting both active and inactive states of KRAS without significant inhibition of HRAS or NRAS. As an oral KRAS inhibitor, JAB-23E73 demonstrated favorable pharmacokinetic properties and significant anti-tumor activity in preclinical studies.

Jacobio BET Inhibitor JAB-8263 Autoimmune Indication Clinical Trial Application Accepted
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Jacobio (01167.HK) announced that it has submitted a phase 1/2 clinical trial application for BET inhibitor JAB-8263 in autoimmune diseases to the Center for Drug Evaluation, NMPA (CDE), which has been accepted.

"Autoimmune diseases affect 5-9% of the global population, and most current treatments are antibody injections with only a few oral drugs approved," said Dr. Yinxiang Wang, Chairman and CEO of Jacobio. "Through internal translational medicine research, we hope to extend the clinical value of BET inhibitors from oncology to autoimmune diseases, benefiting more patients."

Belief BioMed Announces Latest Research Results for Xinjiuning® (Bepadocogene Autotemcel Injection) in Treatment of Hemophilia B
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Belief BioMed formally presented long-term follow-up data from an investigator-initiated clinical trial (IIT, NCT04135300) of its gene therapy drug Xinjiuning® (BBM-H901 injection, generic name: bepadocogene autotemcel injection) in adult patients with hemophilia B as an oral presentation at the 33rd International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Congress.

The study showed that BBM-H901 injection was well tolerated, with vector-derived FIX activity levels remaining stably expressed over the long term, significantly reducing bleeding events and greatly decreasing hemophilia B patients' need for exogenous FIX product replacement therapy (prothrombin complex concentrate, coagulation factor IX).

Sanegene Bio Completes First Subject Dosing in China for CFB-Targeting siRNA Drug for Complement-Related Diseases
Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Sanegene Bio announced that its self-developed small nucleic acid (siRNA) drug SGB-3383 injection, targeting CFB, has successfully completed first subject dosing in its China phase 1 clinical study at Peking University Third Hospital. SGB-3383 is a siRNA drug targeting Complement Factor B (CFB) for the treatment of complement-mediated kidney-related diseases.

This clinical study is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single-ascending-dose phase 1 study, primarily designed to evaluate the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of SGB-3383 in healthy subjects. Preclinical data showed that SGB-3383 can significantly and persistently reduce CFB levels in the liver and blood, with good safety and tolerability.

Berry Genomics Supports Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute Publication in Internationally Renowned Journal
Recently, the Watermelon and Melon Germplasm Resources Team at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Zhengzhou Fruit Research Institute published a research paper in the internationally renowned journal Molecular Horticulture. The study employed multi-omics techniques to decode the dual genetic loci of a "double switch" controlling four distinct flesh color phenotypes in watermelon, offering new insights into plant carotenoid biosynthesis and color formation mechanisms.

Dr. Zhou brings over 30 years of distinguished industry experience and is widely recognized for his leadership and significant contributions to biologics development and manufacturing. Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company Northern MedTech announced that its next-generation TruePhysio X™ wireless pressure microcatheter has received Class III medical device registration approval from China's National Medical Products Administration. As the first domestic fully integrated coronary functional assessment solution, the product provides "navigation-grade" tools for precision diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. It features both epicardial coronary vessel functional assessment indices (FFR/cRR) and achieves more stable, reliable coronary microcirculatory resistance index (iMR) measurements through innovative multi-sensor adaptive dual-point flow velocity fusion technology.

The product incorporates Northern MedTech's pioneering multisensor-iMR (m-iMR) technology. In animal studies and clinical trials, the company's m-iMR measurement demonstrated stability advantages: it required 33% fewer saline injections to achieve stable measurements compared to competing products, with higher measurement stability that saves procedural time. Physicians can operate it independently after just a few trials.

WeRide W5 Unmanned Logistics Vehicle Approved for Road Testing Across Huangpu District, Guangzhou
Recently, Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company WeRide (NASDAQ: WRD) officially announced that it has received the first batch of unmanned equipment road testing licenses in Huangpu District, Guangzhou. Its autonomous logistics vehicle Robovan W5 (hereinafter referred to as the "W5 unmanned logistics vehicle") has commenced road testing across the entire district. The W5 also obtained license plate "穗S·F0001试," making it the first approved unmanned logistics vehicle on the road in Huangpu District. Currently, WeRide is the first and only "licensed enterprise" in the district.

This follows the company's acquisition of a road testing license in Nansha District, Guangzhou in April this year, marking the second district-wide license for the W5 in Guangzhou. The expanding operational footprint signals WeRide's accelerating progress toward large-scale commercialization of unmanned logistics vehicles.

CANbridge Pharmaceuticals Announces First Prescription for Gerining®, a Class 1 New Drug for Type I and Type III Gaucher Disease
Recently, CANbridge Pharmaceuticals (01228.HK), a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, announced that Gerining®, approved for market on May 13 for long-term enzyme replacement therapy in patients aged 12 and above with Type I and Type III Gaucher disease, had its first prescription filled at Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. This marks the official clinical application of China's first domestically self-developed enzyme replacement drug.

Clinical data shows that Gerining® significantly improves core Gaucher disease indicators: after nine months of treatment, spleen volume decreased by 35.32% and hemoglobin increased by 2.17 g/dL.

Professor Li Gengyuan's Team at Hong Kong's Queen Elizabeth Hospital Performs Surgery Using TingSheng Technologies' Intracardiac Echocardiography Diagnostic System
Recently, in the cardiac interventional operating room at Hong Kong's Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Professor Li Gengyuan's team completed two special patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure surgeries. The procedures used real-time intracardiac imaging provided by the intracardiac echocardiography diagnostic system independently developed by TingSheng Technologies, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company. This application reduced trauma to patients and provided a new example of China's cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease treatment technology advancing to the international frontier.

The system provided Professor Li Gengyuan's team with real-time, high-resolution intracardiac structural imaging, helping doctors precisely locate the PFO position and guide guidewires and catheters to safely pass through the unclosed foramen ovale, greatly improving surgical precision and safety.

SceneRay Participates in 2025 Brain-Computer Interface Future Industry Forum and "Zhangjiang Sword" Sci-Tech Salon Phase IV BCI Event
Recently, as a leading Chinese medical application enterprise for brain-computer interface DBS technology, SceneRay, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, was invited to attend the 2025 Brain-Computer Interface Future Industry Forum and the fourth phase of the "Zhangjiang Sword" Sci-Tech Salon focused on brain-computer interfaces.

SceneRay Chairman Ning Yihua introduced the advantageous application of invasive brain-computer interfaces in dual-target DBS for drug addiction treatment, combining it with the company's products. In his keynote speech "Disruptive Innovation in Brain-Computer Interface Dual-Target DBS for Drug Addiction Treatment," Ning used opioid addiction as an example. Sinovision 128-Slice CT Stable Operation Exceeds 20 Months, Winning High Recognition from End Users
Sinovision, a Qiming Venture Partners portfolio company, previously won a bid for a World Bank-assisted medical project in Uzbekistan, delivering 128-slice CT equipment to 13 branches of its National Emergency Medical Center. As of May 2025, this equipment has been running continuously and stably for over 20 months, earning high recognition from end users.

The Karakalpakstan region in western Uzbekistan's desert zone is vast and sparsely populated, with extremely scarce medical resources. Local residents needing diagnosis of complex diseases often had to travel over 1,000 kilometers to the capital, Tashkent, for medical care. The installation of Sinovision's 128-slice CT equipment in Karakalpakstan has significantly alleviated this difficulty, providing great convenience for patients and making early disease diagnosis a reality.
