GreenVoltis is a Europe-focused AI-native virtual power plant aggregator and energy optimization operator . Founded by a team with deep experience in European and Chinese energy markets, the company uses AI-native technology to participate in electricity spot trading and grid ancillary services, offering intelligent flexibility trading solutions to energy storage asset owners, industrial and commercial clients, and electricity retailers .

The company has moved fast on both funding and commercial traction. It closed a nearly $10 million angel round in 2024 led by Unity Ventures (CCV) with participation from Yunqi Capital and Unity Ventures , followed by a further multi-million dollar round in August 2025 led by Minyin International . Yunqi Capital, which has backed GreenVoltis since its earliest stage, frames the investment as a bet on AI-driven transformation of energy management . On the project side, GreenVoltis ranks among the top two AI-native virtual power plants in the Nordic region by one measure , and in March 2026 partnered with Sany Microgrid and China Gas Group on what was described as one of the largest Chinese-invested solar-storage integrated projects in European history, where it serves as EMS supplier and optimization trading operator . The leadership team includes CEO Martin Kievit, COO Ali Shi, and CIO Gino Zhang .
