Indigo is a Chinese entrepreneur, investor, and commentator based in San Francisco. He was an early employee at Sina Weibo, where he stayed through its founding-to-IPO journey, then left and moved into e-commerce livestreaming, co-founding the company that became today's Meione. Around the pandemic he turned to studying stocks and AI — per a 2024 interview by 十字路口Crossing, his US stock portfolio returned 300% annualized, and as an investor he got into both OpenAI and Anthropic . These days he's an active participant-observer in the generative AI wave, publishing short social posts plus long-form essays through his WeChat account "indigo 数字镜像" and podcast "indigo Talk" — his line in the interview: "not doing something would be a waste of this era" .
