Kimi Work is Moonshot AI's general-purpose desktop agent for knowledge workers, launched in beta in June 2026 alongside a Mac client (Windows forthcoming) . The product inherits Kimi's online skills—web building, PPT generation, and access to professional databases in finance, research, and law—and adds Kimi WebBridge for browser automation . During its own development, Kimi engineers used Kimi Code to generate 92% of the beta's 50,000-plus lines of code in one week, with the K2.6 model sustaining 13-hour continuous coding sessions and coordinating up to 300 sub-agents . Current beta testing focuses on task decomposition, multi-agent parallel execution, tool calling, and long-form deliverable generation .
