Luchen Tech (潞晨科技) is a Chinese AI infrastructure company founded in 2021 by Yang You, a UC Berkeley PhD who was nominated for the ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award and named to Forbes 30 Under 30 . The company builds Colossal-AI, a general-purpose deep learning system designed for the large-model era, and operates Luchen Cloud, a compute-rental service that supports model training, fine-tuning, and inference acceleration .

ZhenFund is a backer, having led or participated in Luchen Tech's angel and multiple subsequent rounds including a "several hundred million RMB" A++ round and a new funding round closed in early 2025 . The company has also partnered with Huawei, deploying Ascend 910B chips and preparing for the Ascend 910C alongside Nvidia H20 hardware . As of late 2024, Luchen Tech was named to lists tracking China's most commercially promising AI compute companies and AI navigation enterprises , and by late 2025 it appeared on Forbes Asia Pacific's 100 companies to watch .
