Ludens AI is a Chinese companion-robot startup founded by Xue Lijun, a former Tesla and DJI engineer who later built out the AI system at fitness-tech company FITURE . The company has raised two angel rounds totaling tens of millions of RMB, led by Linear Capital with participation from Clear Water Bay Startup Fund and Japan's PKSHA Algorithm Fund .

Its product line centers on "relational" rather than functional robotics: COCOMO, a small autonomous mobile robot with 10 degrees of freedom and a body temperature of 37°C designed for open home spaces, and INU, a lighter desktop "alien puppy" companion for work environments . Both run on Klara OS, an edge-native AI system developed in-house for low-latency multimodal perception and behavior generation . The company planned to launch both products on crowdfunding platforms and enter overseas markets in 2026 . Linear Capital's investment thesis, per director Bai Zeren, emphasized the team's "very nuanced user insight" and ability to build emotionally differentiated products for home scenarios .
