Minggao Ouyang

Minggao Ouyang is a Chinese academician and a pioneering figure in China's new-energy sector, described in elsewhere's corpus as "among the earliest to throw himself into the new-energy wave" . He serves as chief scientist at Lianyu Technology (链宇科技), a ZhenFund angel portfolio company, and in that capacity was awarded the 2024 Global Energy Prize . His influence extends through the founders he has mentored: Qin Yudi, whose AI energy-management startup advanced vehicle-to-grid technology with a green smart-housing demonstration that drew a visit from Premier Li Qiang in 2024, and Yao Changsheng, co-founder of green-hydrogen startup Haid Hydrogen, which ZhenFund backed at angel stage in 2021 . Both founders credit Ouyang with encouraging them to pursue entrepreneurship and apply first-principles thinking to the energy transition.
