Miranda Qu is the co-founder of Xiaohongshu (小红书), the lifestyle platform she built alongside Mao Wenchao . She was named to the 2024 *Fortune* China Most Powerful Women list , and as of late 2024 she and Mao were counted among China's billionaire entrepreneurs following a year that saw relatively few new entrants to the country's rich lists . The 2023 vintage of the 36Under36 founder ranking, compiled by 暗涌Waves, captured her at an earlier inflection point: Xiaohongshu had just crossed 50 million users, placing her in the company of peers like ByteDance's Zhang Yiming and Anker's Yang Meng .
