MoYa is a soft robot designed for sleep and stress relief, founded by Qian Zheng, a PhD who was struggling with insomnia and set out to solve the problem of human sleep . The device wraps around the user with adjustable pressure, gently patting like a massage, and emits a cat-like purring breathing sound . It also features conversational AI capabilities and a memory agent that tracks sleep- and stress-related cues—such as noting if you mention relationship problems—so it can later connect those dots when you report waking up at night . Hillhouse invested in MoYa's angel round even before the product had a complete demo . As of mid-2026, the founder indicated that production quality would improve by the time of official launch .
