Wenfeng Sang

Wenfeng Sang is the founder and CEO of Sensors Data (神策数据), a big data analytics and marketing technology company that started from user behavior analysis . A Zhejiang University graduate, Sang spent eight years at Baidu working on distributed computing and cloud computing, rising from engineer to tech manager and helping build the company's user log big data platform from scratch . In 2015 he left Baidu to co-found Sensors Data with several former colleagues . Under his leadership the company grew from an 11-person team to roughly 1,200 employees serving over 2,000 clients including major enterprises like Bank of Communications and Huolala, and reportedly achieved a billion-dollar valuation with near-100% renewal rates . Sang has described the company's mission as using "scientific methods to improve efficiency" with data-driven approaches , and has more recently been active in sharing perspectives on Chinese tech companies expanding into Southeast Asian markets like Indonesia .
