Source Code Capital has announced the appointment of Mr. Wei Lai as Ecosystem Partner. Wei will focus on supporting ecosystem partnerships, with particular emphasis on strengthening the firm's capabilities in smart manufacturing and AR/VR.

Wei Lai is an early Chinese internet entrepreneur who co-founded the SINA News brand. He previously served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SINA.com, Vice President of Huiai Technology, and Vice President of Marketing at Xiaomi.com. During his time at Xiaomi, he also served as Special Assistant to the Chairman and Director of the Chairman's Office, making significant contributions to organizational upgrades, management process development, and strategic planning and implementation. Wei holds an MPA degree from Harvard Kennedy School.
