Unity Ventures portfolio company Flight Era made its debut at the 2026 World Intelligence Expo, unveiling the F2500 — China's first domestically developed 2.5-ton-range-extended, full-tiltrotor eVTOL.
At the F2500's global launch ceremony, Flight Era signed letters of intent for 34 aircraft with Saudi Arabia Elephant Innovation Digital Economy Industry Group Co., Ltd., Xiaoxiang Wings, and Qingdao Xinchang Space, accelerating the commercialization of homegrown eVTOLs.
Flight Era is the first domestic eVTOL platform to adopt a "range-extended + full-tiltrotor" configuration, building out a product lineup focused on heavy payload and long endurance. The F2500 has a maximum takeoff weight of 2,500 kg, supports a six-passenger cabin layout, and can alternatively carry 500 kg of payload. At full load, it delivers 500 km of range and cruises at 300 km/h.
Powered by a self-developed next-generation intelligent flight system, the F2500 achieves core advantages across safety, autonomy, passenger comfort, and operating economics. It is a truly scene-ready, commercially viable manned "air vehicle" for low-altitude mobility — requiring no runway, taking off and landing vertically, and cruising smoothly.
